Funny, that was also my first thought.

I see a tipo QR nut on a record hub, this should be rectified immediately.

I'm with ozneddy: 2 votes for Casati
No, wait I'm changing my vote, I just looked again and now I say: a Centurion-Cinelli Equipe (with respray)

We used WD-40 and elbow grease on our 16's, in '77, and it was against regs, then, too.
We cleaned all our weapons in the armory, and they'd smell that WD and start raising hell.
We'd carry the little sqeeze packs in the field, then the gunny would get mad when it sprayed out of the chamber. He'd let up, though, when he realized we'd bring 'em back cleaner than when we saddled up.

To this day, I hate tracer rounds because, while fun to fire, the cleaning is a beech.

Elbow grease still works, and I give the JROTC kids extra points for non-anodized brass and leather shoes.

And I still think Centurion.

Bikes: 1995 Trek 520 is the current primary bike.

but it does figure "C" in the name
Doesn't say the brand name starts with a "C", also doesn't directly state that the "C" is in the brand name so it could be in the model name.

I am loving the guesses out there. I am travelling on business right now, but just acquired the Regina ORO to make this build complete. Looks like a T-day weekend build out is possible, so stand by.

Why didn't you show us the fork crown?

Or the seatstay cap?

Or the brake bridge?

Or the bottom bracket shell?

Oh, because then we'd know for sure it's a:

RB and JY get the prize....although not sporting Centurion ID, it must be, since all the detail shots from JY would indicate so. Kudos to all. If I get to NJ or coastal NC in my travels I'll buy the first round.

Si.

I was first to guess it, so that makes me king for the next 30 seconds. Where are the lusty serving wenches?

Oops, time's up. I was properly educated by JYB and A. Winthrop and T-Mar, so credit must go to the gurus, not the grasshopper.

Now, is that bike for sale?.......

The Centurion Equipe is also my favorite ride (given the other choice is a Trek 600):

Good night, that's gorgeous!
And look at all that room for a seat bag. Tall people get everything.
