Bikes: Many. Ralieigh sports`s, Raleigh Superbe, sears Spaceliner, Firestone supercruisers, many vintage mountain bikes, random cruisers, and other unique bikes.

Thanks, though I think I found one tire local, if not i'll just get a normal 24" rim and get a thin tire for it lol She wouldn't know!

Not even worth questioning. Next yard sale rack belongs on your car.

Bikes: bianchi brava 1988. fuji track 2007, 2006 Bianchi Pista, 1987 Miele and a strida knock off

Toronto.craigslist.org/bik catch of Monday, April 5th 2010

$20 and a very quick email got me:

Pretty meh, but lugged tange 5 tubing and everything is pretty close to like-new condition except for the weathered ORIGINAL tires. Rims are straight and the thing still indexes 6 speed fine.

52cm Miele Uno L.S.
Araya Rims + Suzue hubs 700c
Suntour Cycloid rings + Sugino MX crank
Shimano Ex brakes + levers + Rear Derailleur
Chain is original, no rust!
No rust on frame and simple polish will remove whatever on the forks.

Only thing it needs is a rear tube and new rubber..

its almost exactly the same as the Miele Binova frame i picked up last year for $25.....

The fender tabs make that a good rain/winter bike, nice find.

yah for sure man! this will be my geared meh-weather bike.

the fender tabs and wheel clearences make it ideal for fenders.... but not sure if im gonna work on it or just wait until i move.. around june.

Thinking of getting a pair of these for rubber:
https://www.mec.ca/Products/product_d...=1270569698934

btw, do you have much experience in rebuilding araya hubs? I am not sure what model they would be, low flange, etc.. but these are pretty gritty...

I have been wanting to find a Tenax Schwinn but of course... like all of my other finds so far this year, she's too big. The front wheel was nowhere to be found but I grabbed a suitable replacement from the "junk" pile.

I'll post an updated pic when she's all tuned and clean.
What kind of derailleurs does it have? Are they indexed?

Two for $60, the Dunelt is going to my niece as her daily rider at college, the Raleigh LTD-3 is destined to be a parts donor.

I literally just saved these from the metal recycling stream. I can use some parts & that makes them worth the hassle...kinda thinking of making something fun for my 11 year old with the muscle bike(s) and maybe something cool in the 'alt bike' realm from one of the cruiser frames...The black cruiser frame is a schwinn as is the crushed gold colored Continental frame. There is also an early '80s Peugeot 103 'carbolite' frame, an Atala that's complete except for a seat and the tall road bike is a Raleigh Record. Any of this look worth saving (or worth someone else saving)?

oh, may I beat everyone else to the punch and say that even though i took the photos with my wide angle lens, the fork on the Continental frame IS bent!

Great haul! I can see nice ratrod builds in the black and red ones one and the muscle bikes should be fun.

The Atala Giro D'Italia was my first 10-speed bike. I couldn't afford a Peugeot UO-8, and I put a lot of miles on my Atala.

What's the frame size on the Raleigh? The bigger ones are hard to find; 23" kinda scarce, 25" quite rare. You might be better off cleaning it and selling it.

I've never heard of a 25" English 3-speed.

A few extra large plastic garbage bags to put the wheels in and an old picnic blanket for the rear seat.

Huffy Savannah Tandem (1980s??). Six Speed with 3 sets of brakes. The driver has front and rear. The rear rider has their own rear brake as well.
Got this from a couple that was moving and just couldn't fit it in the van. I was able to pay for it with the profits from the Miami Vice colored Roadmaster I sold yesterday.

Quite a haul, Fiat Acc. I'd put the rear strut,,thing on the yellow one's seat. How about a retro,, heritage MT Tam,,Repack clone? If somebody built one with an old odball frame. You could have a hot seller?

Isn't he referring to the sixth picture down? I was going to say that looks like a Raleigh Grand Prix but I think the seat tube cluster doesn't agree. Record maybe?
