New Bike For Sale - $300 (Springfield/Eugene)
Walmart: Genesis 29" Mens, Incline Bicycle, Black/Yellow $149.00
Ok, so 2 photos of the helmet and lock. 2 photos of the model number on the instruction book, and 3 photos of the bike from imperceptibly different angles.
And, the whole thing is being sold for double retail. Albeit, it does include a cheap Kryptonite lock ($30), cheap cable ($10), and cheap helmet ($20). So, maybe $60 in accessories. And, we're still $90 short.

90s? Sweet steel is real Specialized Rockhopper mountain bike. I bought it to be my city cruiser/bruiser, though it was pouring rain that evening when I went to buy it and I didn't really check out the fit. Hence, this machine is too small for me. It is a 21"/54cm ctc frame. Doesn't seem like it had very much use. There are city slicks on it, 2" wide, and they have gobs of tread and no drywall rot. The saddle is a Cannondale branded mountain one, and it is on the more plush comfortable size/not an instrument of torture. 26" wheels, bottle cage, kickstand, fenders, stay with it. 7 speed freewheel, triple ring crankset, and you can conquer all of Hollywood cemeteries hills and byways. Shimano groupset functions as it should. Flat bars, thumb shifters work properly. Canti brakes are stoppers. Let me know if you want to take a spin.
I'd say the size would fit someone 5'8" to about 6".
Roughly a 32" standover height.
Located indoors, this bicycle is presently in the museum district. I'd be glad to meet you where you'd like to ride it...I work in the Innsbrook area and can shuttle the bicycle out that was as well. This steel is real machine basically will never wear out. Aluminum is for beer cans.
You can comfortably ride anywhere in Richmond on this steed. Take it out on the Capital Trail, or on the Greenway.

Riser Bars (although one could raise the seat and flip the stem for a good aero config).
If it was Zipp or HED, then the price would be low.
Those appear to be some 3rd party add-on discs that really won't raise the value above simple spoked wheels.

^^^^ Front wheel is on backwards, and appears to have no valve access. Threadless conversion is, er, less than optimally executed.
Owner/operator should be concerned about putting passing motorists into a trance while wheels are in motion, esp. in FL.

Not so much an Item, but I was trying to negotiate a deal for a facebook market place bike out of state, hoping to rope a local High school buddy into picking it up, and the seller blocked me the second I mentioned my friend was in fact a Nigerian Prince. Sum folks got no sense of humor....

I've purchased a few items out of town. It is always a little touch and go whether the sale actually goes through.
Ask a seller to hold an item for a week, without cash in hand, and they rarely hold it. Some accept PayPal, in which case, they'll hold it for a reasonable amount of time. But, I've had a couple of sellers that disappear when I try to collect the items.
Some, as soon as one mentions that one is 50 or 100 miles away, they never respond again.
One, has shipped a bike to me, and was pleased to hear about BikeFlights.
Two sales have now been facilitated by BikeForums members (plus PayPal to the facilitator and cash to the seller).
One of those, I negotiated most of the deal through E-Mail. The other one, the seller never responded to me by E-Mail, and only talked via E-Mail to my facilitator.

Chances are that the next time I'm local to this bike, I will be opening up dummy email and face book accounts, just for the honor of giving some one $$ for a 25 year mountain bike. He ain't getting full freight though...

Believe it or not that thing is stupidly valuable and collectible. There was a short period of BMX back in 80's where down hill mountain racing was considered the next greatest thing!
