What appears to be a beautiful, pantographed Somec...if only there was a full photo of the bike. Also, crack pipe price.

I must say that that Somec is absolutely exquisite.
If I was the seller, I'd invest some time in detailing the bike, then just sit on it. Hard to say how much. Perhaps around $3000. Although, I will admit that I like the later Somec Air frames a bit better. Perhaps the difference between a Colnago Super and a Colnago X-Light Master.
Your "Crack" price? $150???

But how much, with a chain included? Looks like it must've been Uri Geller's old bike, with those bent shifters.

You have to pay more for the full photo. Otherwise you only get partial photos.

I was aping Jalopnik's "Nice Price or Crack Pipe" line in regards to the asking price there. Now that I've seen the eBay price, I'm certain the seller falls into the latter.
Tack on $4,500 worth of sins for upper caps, if not another sin fine for having bought a Somec back in the day and purposely having made an an effort not to ride it. I don't know whether to laugh or cry about the chain removal...
Can anyone confirm whether his claim about the A14 serial is true, or made up? ("I see an 'A14,' so it must be #14 of the legend that was passed down to me!" Granted, this is no $4,500 Varsity ad, and the story may be true, but there isn't any substantiated evidence in the listing).

"Groupo"? It's a wonder he didn't put a hyphen after the "p".
And why does he have to YELL THE WHOLE AD?

Single Men and Hipsters, this bike is for you. Imagine....you slow rolling down the street in this vintage cruiser. Feeling so very fresh, you loosen a couple of shirt buttons and unleash your secret weapon on the local female population. Your manly chest hair waves in the breeze like a lion roaring over its pride as pure savagery is let loose on municipal streets.
Checking you out even further, they see your distressed tight rolled jeans sitting triumphantly on this beautiful 1961 Schwinn Racer. You keep on riding, letting the cat and mouse game play on for another day.
You can't put a price tag on all this attention, but I need to sell it so...$350

12V can mean a 12 volt electrical system or 12 "venturis" or barrels on a fuel system? 12 one barrel carburetors like a Stromberg or 6 two barrel carburetors like a Weber while not common in the last 50 years once upon a time were a thing, especially on high performance V-12's. Yeah, I know it's not what the guy intended but it IS a proper automotive abbreviation.

Where I live on the Delmarva Peninsula there used to be an unofficial ride, open to anyone and supported by volunteers, That was called the " TOUR DE TOAD ". He was killed in an auto accident, no bike involved, and the ride died a few years later.

True that IS another variation on 12V however, how many vintage sports cars have Cummins diesels?

^^^^^^ Triple bonus for the photography - overexposed, way out of focus, stoopid high angle and (extra extra bonus) self-shadow in frame.

I was just about to respond to this one. I may still...
Kryptonite New York Lock - $50 - Eugene???
So, why wacky? Looking at the map, it just seemed off a bit, so I had to zoom out.
Edit:
Talked to the seller who said the lock was in Astoria.
Which puzzled me even more since Astoria is in the opposite side of Oregon...
Except, apparently there is a New York Astoria.
Ad has been taken down (and presumably moved East.
I just thought it was funny, a Kryptonite NY in NY (with the ad posted in Oregon)
