If I had the money and desire for a race bike, I might be talking to this guy:

colnago road bike | road | Winnipeg | Kijiji

Date Listed 28-May-15
Price: Please Contact
Frame Size: M
For Sale By: Owner

bought new 30 yrs. ago nuovo record gruopset pearl white color
less than 3000 kms. exc. cond. CALL ONLY & ONLY SERIOUS BUYERS NEED CALL

I'm at least curious about what bike that actually is; and if it's worth the $1100 CAD that the guy had it listed for originally.

Crimped tubing so it's a Nuovo Mexico. Not cheap but I don't think it's unreasonable.

The orange De Rosa Primato posted here a week back is going to go for surprisingly cheap on eBay. It was up for a week at $800 with no reserve, a $1250 Buy It Now, $85 shipping and free shipping in Portland and Seattle. Received zero bids. Seller ended the listing because there was an "error" right before the close, and now has it listed for $1250/offer.

This is the Trek Y-Foil being sold in Northern San Diego that I was referring to a couple of weeks ago when the gold Y-Foil was posted here for a much higher price. The seller has lowered the price again to a very attractive price of $600. If it wasn't configured as a Triathlon bike, with the bars, shifters and brake levers that implies, I'd buy it myself to have a second one.

I hope everyone here watches the BOBishBikesFS group on Yahoo. All sorts of interesting stuff pops up. Charles Nighbor posted ads today for (I think) five Eisentrauts.

In my next email was this Colnago on Chicago CL, right here in Evanston. Too small for me, but looks like a hellacious deal.
