Love those bikes! The Pelo a little big but the other two I'd surely add to my old Schwinn collection. Actually have been keeping an eye out for a SS and Circuit in similar vintage to my 88's. But I have my hands full right now replacing all the old 105 components on the Tempo and doing some upgrades to the Prologue as well.

I agree. Don't know if I hate that more or when they list a bike at one price, you contact them and they respond a day later saying the price is now twice what it was originally...

It looks like the Bob Jackson seller updated the ad with the price - $700 (though he says he "would like to keep the brooks saddle"...)

not a terrible price- but I wonder if it might fall and fairly soon the brooks will be included. Bob Jackson is not exactly a household name in the states, and those who do know tend to have a decent stable already and will only jump on deals.

that said. If I was in the area I might go take a look now that he has set his price point. see if he would go for $600 with the brooks. I bet he got 00 replies on his first advert.

FINALLY picking up the 520 tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up. I will do a build thread for it, as well as Show Your Trek, and Before and After threads. I already have the Showa front rack, and a Jim Blackburn silver rear. Reynolds 501, Cyclone M-II long cage, a triple crank, and cantilevers. How can it get much better?. I've also got stainless fenders from a Gazelle, and I'm not afraid to use them.,,,,BD

[h=2]1965(?) Peugeot PX10 Collectible - $250 (Houghton/Sahuarita)[/h]

Very light and rideable. Same owner last 30 years. 54 cm.(21") frame. Light strong Reynolds 531 alloy frame and fork, Nervex Professional lugs. Needs tires (tubular sew up style). Weighs 21# w/o tires.

Almost all original components. Everything works properly. Stronglight crank w/ 45/52 tooth gearing. Simplex rear derailleur, new front (non-original)Sunracer. 5 speed rear cluster. Mafac centerpull brakes w/ Weinmann hooded handles. Lyotard pedals. Atom quick release skewers. Normandy Competition large flange hubs, 3TTT Giro d'Italia stem, Cinelli bars. Straight true 27" aluminum alloy wheels. Unicanitor seat on long (8"+) SA Laprade seat post. Simplex downtube mounted shifters. Serial number is 951xx. ( I won't list last 2 digits in an ad.) Decals are good, paint needs some attention (see photos). Chromed fork and rear stays.

Check ebay to see how good this price is. Clean and lube, install tires and it will be ready for El Tour.

I was asking about this one in the appraisal forum. Sounds like I'm in the same boat as you with too many projects at once. It's only a couple of miles from me so I may yet get the inspiration to wander over there...

The handlebar positioning is getting dangerously into hobo territory, but otherwise, like. Like very much.
