Hi I have a 1994 Schwinn Paramount this bike rides awesome and is very smooth this is a special year for Paramounts as it is the last year they were made in USA making this bike very rare and special this bike has
753 Reynolds tubing (the only year Paramounts had this)
Cinelli Bar and stem
Dura Ace brakes and derailer
Superbe Pro Crankshaft
it has brand new cables and recent tune up
Campagnolo Seat post and Selle Italia Flight Saddle
57cm frame

I agree with everything you said. Early '70's DeRosa's don't exactly fall off trees, and after speaking with the seller, the owner of the bicycle didn't restore beaters. Jim Cunningham or Greg Reiche may have more/better information.

Still optimistically priced as that perfect Christmas gift for that special someone... I'll be watching this one for a while is my guess.

Maybe a little pricey for what it is, but the colors are fantastic.

This Fuso is interesting in San Diego. My size, but I'm out of the market since I just bought a De Rosa, and a velo cheapo project in the past month.

A few sad state of business ventures post Ocana's race career. Only heard rumors of his branded bikes but sure enough though found this listing. No gem mixte.

Here's a [admin deleted.] with the number hanger I just listed eBay. Quite a piece of cycling history, and apart from that, a great ride. Comes with a Powertap, no reserve $1 start auction.

PINARELLO Monviso 50cm Italian steel road bike MINT cond

[h=2]PINARELLO Monviso 50cm Italian steel road bike MINT cond - $1250 (Lowell)[/h]

This bike is pristine. It's been ridden maybe 100 miles, tops. It's spotless. This is a mid 90's model with a complete 8 speed Campagnolo parts group.

Dedacciai Italian steel frame (Pinarello custom Dedacciai)
Campagnolo Athena 8 speed parts kit.
Hand laced Wheels - Mavic rims laced to the matching Campagnolo hubs.

The bike is hard to tell from new. It pretty much IS new. It appears to have been tried out for a few rides then left to sit, indoors, comfortably, until we acquired it.

Seems like someone stripped the good parts and came up with this in the end. Not a bad deal, but not fantastic:

@ljsense - listing your own bikes here is a big no-no. Also the bike isn't C&V.

Sorry -- I can delete it if it feels like I'm trying to run crabon cranks on a square-tapered spindle.

I thought that shift cable housing outside the handlebar tape might qualify it . Plus, 2003 -- that was Dave Chappelle's show was just starting. It seems like a REAL long time ago!
