I believe it's a 1974 Schwinn Paromont 10 speed. 23" frame. Campy high flange hubs,deraulers and 42/52 crank. Original leather seat. Breaks were originally center pull, replaced with Universal Moo 77. Period correct. Wymann concave rims, from same period. Bike was repainted and needs paint, but every thing is there and have have some campy tools to go with.

Ah, yes. BioCam. One of those innovations that never quite caught on. Trek made some of the frames for those -- the BB castings alone probably weighed more than the rest of the frame. And the dropouts weren't particularly light, either.
I can't imagine shifting through 50 gears.
Seems ridiculous.

Vintage centurion elite rs cromoly road bike 62 cm
One of centurion japan's higher end bikes. This is a model elite rs with anodized components. It is made of no 2 champion cromoly steel. Comes with anodized double crankset and dia compe brakes. Has suntour derailleurs and shifters. Bike is an extra large size 62cm c to c for the seattube. Toptube is 58 cm cto c. Standover is a tad under 35 inches. Bike has some paint wear see pics. No dents or damage. Has a 12 speed geartrain with anodized clincher wheels. Wheels are straight. Good bidding

For sale is a nice vintage road bike by Peugeot. This bike is full of beautiful vintage touches that the guys at Velo Orange would drool over.

I also have a period-correct Pletscher rear rack and bottle cage that I can include if the buyer wants. This bike has great geometry and is lively and quick without being twitchy. For sale is a nice vintage road bike by Peugeot. This bike is full of beautiful vintage touches that the guys at Velo Orange would drool over.

I also have a period-correct Pletscher rear rack and bottle cage that I can include if the buyer wants. This bike has great geometry and is lively and quick without being twitchy. It's not at all slow or lazy like a lot of older 27" road bikes (think Fuji Gran Tourer, Shogun, etc).
- 62 cm seat tube, 59.5 toptube. A good fit for 6'1" - 6'4"
- Reynolds 501 steel tube set, simple yet elegant lugs
- Fastback seat cluster -- note how the seat stays are mitered directly to the seat tube and aren't brazed to the sides
- Short horizontal dropouts, eyelets
- Lugged chrome fork, semi-sloping crown, with eyelets
- Good fender clearance front and rear, or clearance up to ~34mm tires (maybe more)
- 700C wheels, Maillard hubset, Continental Tires (dark gum wall)
- Double crankset, Al chainrings
- Simplex derailleurs, 12 speed
- Drive train has essentially no wear
- Christophe chrome toe-clips with white leather straps
- Weinmann brakes, Gum hoods
