i had a day where I was checking this thread OFTEN to make sure a bike I was after was not posted and nabbed, particularly since I was not able to get to it quickly myself. - Its still not in my hands, but picked up/facilitated by an inmate here and I got a date to go get it from him, so I can calm down. the thread can be a gift or a curse depending upon which side you are looking from.

Bertin C-117 Mixte Women's Roadbike


We are selling my wife's Bertin Mixte Road bike, a classic 60's French bike. This is a bike that will need a bit of fixing up. It needs new tubes for the tires and the chain needs to be cleaned off and cycled through the gears. This would be a good restoration or project bike if you wanted to get it back to showroom condition. I don't know the exact dimensions but my wife is 5'6 and this imagine that it would be a bit small for anyone taller than 5'7.

$70 price tage. It appears it would fix up nicely though I'd think this is probably from the '70s. <--- But who knows, maybe they have an old bike license on it and it is from the '60s; in fairly good shape at that.

Bike is used and has wear including scratches and nicks to the paint but no dents. It could probably use a tune-up but overall it's in good condition. It shifts fine and brakes are good. Frame or seat tube size is 63cm top tube is approximately 57cm stand over height is 35 inches and it has 28 inch wheels. Components are all Shimano Deore XT. Bike weight is 26 pounds.

1985 Club Fuji Quad Butted road bike


My aunt bought this bike brand new after college. It is a 57cm frame and has brand new bontrager tires and fizzik bar tape. Has been tuned up and rides well. Has the val-lite quad butted tubing in the frame and these frames are considered to be very nice. I believe it was 23 pounds when we weighed it. Bike is in good shape and has fairly low miles. Some scratches but not too many. Good paint. Thank you!

In the appraisal thread, someone was inquiring about a nice Mixte; there are many out there and that is why I was posting a few. A market to keep up with.

Currently in Flagstaff, there is a Puch Brigadier Mixte; the claim on tubing is a bit ambiguous and the photos are poor but here goes:
