never heard of this model- but centurion/diamondback for $90 bad pics but it could be a decent deal on a daily ride.

Schwinn Road Bike 56cm 18 speed - $120 (Jamaica Plain)

Read to ride, Schwinn road bike, steel frame, tires are good, wheels set 700 and ture, brakes work fine, shifts into 18 speed, Dura-ace rear hub, 56cm set tube size.

I like the white Suntour Cyclone groupsets these have. Only bike I know that came with it, but others must exist.

Dig the bolts, and cool FD mount. By-passes clamping system entirely. Not terribly adjustable for chainring size... or brand.

Classic French Vita Sport Mixte with Shimano Dura-Ace Brakes ($45)

A classic French 10 speed. The star of the show here, is the brakes: Shimano Dura-Ace. They're highly desireable and if parted out, sell more than the price of the bike on ebay. Would rather see the bike in use. . . .

------------

Pretty unique, the chainwheel. Fairly nicely lugged. Top of the fork sure looks familiar. I mean, it's beater bike quality but still. Indications are they were made in St. Etienne; the bike manufacturing hub of France in the hey day.

Good name for a bicycle.

1989 Trek 420 22.5" Frame size, all tuned up, about 100-miles on new tubes and tires. Could use some new wrap on handle bars but other than that its good to go.

I think this was posted a few days ago. If it runs and one has the room for an extra bike, I think it's worth considering.

1973 Mondia Special frame/Campagnolo parts (incomplete) - $799 (Inman sq)

Text 617-939-4907. Asking $799, negotiations welcome

I will include a NOS Vintage Campagnolo crankset for free!!! (No chainrings)

Early 1970's Mondia Special frame in great condition. 60 cm c-c. A classic Swiss made lightweight frame with beautiful lugs, and fresh new electric blue paint. The frame is in great overall condition.
This Mondia is ready to be built as a randonneur, city bike or gravel grinder. Perfect for Eroica too. I own another Mondia and they are great frames

Check the authenticity by looking up the serial number. #171208

Specs:
-Mondia Special
-Made in Switzerland
-Reynolds 531 tubes.
-Nervex chromed lugs.
-Campy front and rear drop outs with eyelets for fenders.
-Campagnolo Nuovo Record bottom bracket
-Seat tube: 60 cm c-c
-Top tube: 60cm c-c

A great classic frame, at a great Buy it now price.

Contact me for a schematic of the bike geometry.

Mondia was one of the most successful Swiss bicycle manufacturers. Their first bicycles were manufactured during 1933.

While now out of business, used Mondia bicycles can still be found. Frames from Mondia bicycles manufactured in the 1970s still rival modern frames in terms of weight and engineering, and are highly regarded on the merits of riding excellence and quality craftmanship.

Frames is made of Reynolds 531 steel tubing (in French metric sizes), a hallmark of the high-end bicycle during this era of manufacture.

Campagnolo "Nuovo Record" components.

The parts and frame are in near perfect condition. This will make a great project for someone looking to finish one of the most classic bikes to ever hit the streets.

Very Rare! Swiss made MONDIA SPECIAL 1973 with serial number for authenticity. The frame is butted 531 Reynolds steel. Very light. The frame and fork are in amazing condition and come with the original chrome Campagnolo parts (Headset, Dropouts, Bottom Bracket, bearings, seat post clamp). All Campy parts are the original to this bike and are in excellent condition. This listing is for the frame and fork only, with the original Campagnolo headset, bottom bracket, bearings and horizontal drop outs. The bike is needs a wheel set and is ready to go. It's set up a a fixed gear with A vintage Campy victory crankset. This is a really cool bike for someone who will appreciate its authenticity and craftsmanship. It's a blank canvas at this point. Restore it to its original 1973 Record Campagnolo full set. Or get creative. $799Text 617-939-4907Located in Inman square.

Colnago Master Lite 58cm Steel frame - $1400 (s.shore)

I am selling my Colnago Steel frame master lite. Its columbus steel with a mixed campy group of athena and chorus. Chris King Headset,Fsa standard crank,10 spd. I am including a beautiful hardly used Vuelta carbon wheelset with brand new Vittoria tires. This is a fantastic riding Italian classic that holds its value much more than other bikes. The paint is still in terrific shape,no rust to be found. Price out a build on one of these and see how quickly the money adds up.This one is a fabulous buy.Adult owned and loved, and maintained. I am the second owner. These Columbus steel frames are special. The ride is superb. I would entertain trades for real nice guitars or older tube amps. Trade value is 1600.00-1800.00. I can do pay pal,but prefer cash. My location only.If the ad is up I have it.

Dallas/Fort Worth has a nice 531 Reynolds Mercian Mixte; one can see one of the top mixte bars has some rust; so one could undertake the challenge to try and remedy that. 2nd picture shows 531 sticker and the rust on that one tube.

Mercian Mixte Road Bike

80s Mercian Mixte
Reynolds 531 frame and fork
Shimano 600 group

Paint is rough

450.00

-----------

So, if one gets a high end Mixte per discussion in the appraisal thread; you may end up paying for it and this one is not perfect; or one could be on the look out for other brands that many love all the same. Very nice all the same, the seller must know what they are doing. Maybe a bit steeply priced but there aren't many of these around.

I'd sand the rust and touch it up maybe.

Guerciotti Lugged Columbus Steel

Beautiful Guerciotti Columbus steel lugged road bike frame with chrome drop outs, chain stay, and incredible factory details. If you are looking for the unparalleled ride of a top of the line Italian vintage road bike, this one would make a great fall/ winter build project. Much sought after example like Colnago De Rosa, Pinarello, and others. Purchased this bike in Seattle for much more than the asking. Sad to see it go, but want it to have a great bike aficionado home.

Pashley Aurora 531 Mixte/Alfine 8

Looking for a change of pace, need to free garage space! Up for sale is my 2014 Pashley Aurora mixte custom built for me by Paradise Garage. It's a handmade-in-the-UK Reynolds 531 fully lugged frame with Alfine 8 IGH and full stainless fenders. Fast, fluid, and great in any weather, with that great electric hum that good steel is known for. Absolutely a lifetime investment frame! Custom built with VO Porteur Rack, Soma oxford bars, nitto quill stem, Brooks slender grips & B67 Saddle. Rain cape not included, I do have a matching VO constructeur rear rack I'll include for a small upcharge. Original build $3000, 660 miles on her now; light use, always stored indoors at home & work, a few light marks here and there, very well taken care of, tuned up recently, everything works smoothly and as expected. Absolutely one-of-a-kind elegant, stylish, and fast transport! 22" frame fits me pretty well at 5'10" although I'm a little short in the torso I'd say it fits 5'5-5'10" as is, or up to about 6'2" if you went to a less swept-back bar or drop bars.

----------

$950 though.

56cm men's Garlatti Parma

Seller says "56cm," but given the size of the head tube, I'm a bit skeptical. Might scratch an itch for someone:
