One of the older Merckx bikes. With the signature on the frame. You have to be willing to go and get it yourself in La Wallonie in Belgium though, because the seller isn't shipping it out. Comes equipped with a mishmash of campagnolo parts.

Hope someone who'll cherish it gets it.

Very nice Raleigh Grand Prix with Reynolds 531 tubing, Shimano 105 indexed drivetrain and 700c wheels. The bike seat tube measures 23.5" (59mm) from the middle of the crank shaft to the top of the seat tube. Great condition, light weight.

[h=2]Classic Steel Guerciotti Road Bike - $585 (Groton, MA)[/h]

Date: 2012-05-21, 10:29AM EDT

For Sale: Classic Steel Guerciotti Road Bike

Frame bought new in 1976: 51.5 cm steel (Columbus). Campagnolo triple chainwheel, front derailleur, bottom bracket, and headset; seven-speed freewheel; barend friction shifters; Superbee brakes. Faithfully maintained -- very little rust; four years ago rode a century (100 mile) ride with it -- thus the conversion to a triple chainwheel. Included are the parts for conversion back to a double chainwheel setup -- Sugino -- with two crankarm lengths (171 & 168 mm) and assorted chainwheels; the original Campagnolo bottom bracket; an old Dura Ace front derailleur (not shown); and a set of Guerciotti decals (unfortunately the original classic olive wreath ones are no longer available). $585 for everything.

[h=2]Ultralight Lugged Steel Frameset, Campagnolo, Cinelli, 54cm - $250 (Center City)[/h]

Date: 2012-05-21, 7:52PM EDT

I have very nice frameset from 80's, from Belgian race frame builder Diamant. Oria GM 0.0 profiled tubing. Oria GM 0.0 is arguably one of the best seamless steel tubing ever produced. The bike was originally equipped with top of the line Campy group. Campagnolo horizontal dropouts and Cinelli BB shell. Tubes have fluted pattern for increased tensile strength. Original paint; combination of turquoise green, pearl white and glossy black (very cool, head turner!). 130mm /100mm droupouts, Seat tube measures 54 mm (C-C), top tube 55 mm (C-C). Takes 27.2mm seat post. The built quality is top. I have it as fixed gear, but this frame can make very nice multispeed; it is very light and rides, accelerates amazingly. Please note that this add is for the frame, original fork, installed brand new Shimano BB (italian thread, 107mm spindle length) and brand new Tange cromoly steel headset with sealed bearings. Nothing else is included. I have like new Vuelta Zerolite wheelset with 700x25 street tires listed separately (rear wheel shown in pic), in case you are interested.

Nice 12 speed Road Bike for sale. I used this bike awhile back but haven't used it for long time now. I was into heavy training a few years back. In later years, it has gotten relatively light use. Everything on this bike is in good working condition. There are a few scratches on the frame from storage, but nothing major outside of that.

This bike would be a great first road bike for someone trying to get into cycling for fitness, and go on rides beyond simple commuting.

Sweet ride on the Denver CL...

Not a higher end Raleigh and w/o the saddle (which doesn't excite me anyway), but for a 40 year old bike? Nice! "New tires and tubes", but the front sure looks FLAT to me!

Vintage '70s Raleigh Sprite 27" Cruiser Bike - Mint Condition! - $175 (Capitol Hill - Denver)
Date: 2012-05-21, 10:24PM MDT

https://denver.craigslist.org/bik/2984589775.html

I have a mint condition 1970's Raleigh Sprite in metallic brown. Paint is original and besides a few small chips and cable rub, is in mint condition. All bars and chrome are in great condition and the bike rides like a dream. This is also the rare ten speed model with two chain rings up front. New tires and tubes... Rides like a dream...

I am selling because I have too many bikes and this one does not get ridden nearly enough. It should be ridden daily as it is such a smooth riding bike and such a beauty. Price does not inlcude the triple spring brooks saddle, but it is available to go with the bike if desired.

Come see this gem for yourself!

Saw this one last night, going to take a look this evening. Need to find out what the original equipment is supposed to be.

Selling my trusty '86 Peugeot Triathlon road bike. Good condtion. Bought it for $225 a couple of years ago, then upgraded with a Brooks saddle, Brooks bar tape, and toe clips/straps. Rides great. Email me if your interested. -Dan

Aw crap! Looks like it's a 64cm, 2cm larger than I can handle.

Not sure how much your posted bike is going for but for reference there is this Peugeot Triathlon 62cm for $150 over here, down from something like $250 last week. Though it doesnt have the brooks accents

Typical prices for very good condition Triathlons and PSV had been hovering around $300 - $350, with the PSVs seeming to get a little bit more usually.
Very large frame size on that one might be hurting it's price in the market, but some had also noticed a bit of a downturn in sales and values on higher end Peugeots lately. There could also be a bit of saturation in the market as I've noticed so many higher end Peugeots, like PX10s, "Competitions", PSVs and Triathlons come in for auction at eBay in the last year. Much more than in previous years.

I disagree Chombi. The purple Tri is in some serious disrepair. I believe that if the seller had some ambition the bike could be brought up to snuff and sold for closer to $300, or even more in that market.

Looking at the wheels I would buy that Purple Tri for the group/wheels if it was closer.

The red Tri is Super Vitus and probably super whippy in that size. Heck, 58's are whippy, I couldn't imagine what that thing is like.

the purple Tri appears to be original and is a completely different bike due to the Reynolds 501 tubing. It's probably more stiff and thus a better choice for the bigger rider.

You don't often see chromed bikes these days, much less lugged ones. It pains me to sell this frame, but I've got to thin the herd.
This 1978 Shwinn Super LeTour 12.2 has weathered it's 40-odd years admirably. The tubes are double-butted 4130 Chromoly Steel. The frame was hand-brazed in Japan.
The top tube measures 59cm, the down tube is 59.5cm. I would recommend this size of frame to someone between 6' and 6'4", depending on your build.
As you can see, the chrome is in perfect condition. No rust or pitting. When it's waxed, you can use it to check for bits of food in your teeth.
Frame was re-spaced to 135mm and alignment checked by RE cycles (where they build Rodriguez bikes). I paid $90... Making this frame all the more of a steal at $160!
Brakes are for sale separately. Search for "Gran Compe 610" to find the listing.

No apparent model identifier on the frame (RH chain stay sticker/ 'protector'), but from talking to the guy
and having him ID components we have what appears to be an '85 620. Cyclone MK II DR's, Sugino AT
crank, ST bar ends... sounds like a 620 to me!

As always, way TOO big for me but someone out there might be a perfect candidate!

I seem to be on a mission looking for vintage Trek road bikes; the description for this one got me, though...

Someone out there PLEASE save this one from the fixie/ SS gremlins... it doesn't deserve that fate!!

Oh, and the pic looks like a 57cm, not a 54 in the Description.
