Tempting. I've always wanted a Swingbike. That thing's probably even more fun than the Swingbike.

And with that drivetrain, no worry about toe overlap, even doing the tight slalom turns. (Unless you're wearing your extra-large clown shoes that day.)

My early 70s Super Course has stamped and chromed dropouts. I'm assuming they all were around that time.

You don't see these every day.

https://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=218...arch=&ad_cid=5

This is a late 80's Schwinn Prologue TT "funny bike" frame set. It comes with the 24" front wheel, headset, and stem. Seatpost and rear wheel are not included.

I bought it new and it was ridden maybe 100 miles total. In really good shape, but with a few scratches here and there.
I am 6'0" and it fit great, but it would fit a wide variety of people.

According to the 1988 Schwinn Catalog:
A 1987 World Champion in its very first year. An eloquent complement to the craftsmanship of and precision of the Paramount line. Hand brazed, carefully engineered and perfectly finished the prologue is a high performance racing frameset that's perfect for the road, criterions and all around training. Prologue TT - Designed specifically for time trailing and triathlons. Featuring a sloping top tube and designed for a 24" front wheel to help situate the rider in the best aerodynamic position. This frame is built with painstaking care to provide performance characteristics the finest hand crafted frames in the world (Schwinn Catalog 1988)
Here's a link to 1988 Catalog page. https://www.trfindley.com/flschwinn_1...0/1988_04.html

craigslist find

Hey C&V, I made my account to post this but have been a longtime lurker. Found in Miami, Florida and I am looking for a facilitator. I am in Nebraska. Am I looking at a Trek 720? Crappy pics and has been posted for over a month. I would think they would be willing to negotiate. I have looked in the facilitators thread but have had little luck. Someone help me N+1 please!!!

There is a specific facilitators sticky post (above in the C&V section). You might have better luck there.

Checking the adjacent region on CL later today it was listed for $125.00. It is now in my garage for somewhat less than that....it is close to perfect. A couple of white paint marks from leaning on a post or something, maybe three very minor paint chips, no front tire, all the rest is as per the catalog, less the seat-no white Turbo. Pics on a new thread tomorrow.

That's why the seller never got back to me. Thanks goodness it looks 1 size too small for me. I can tell myself that anyway. Good score!!!

Probably don't see this too often but I could be wrong. That curved seat tube looks like a KHS Aero frame. I see a Reynolds tubing decal on there. I was going to say I could facilitate but how would ya ship it?

This one has been hanging around Denver CL for a while. I know nothing about tourist-style Bianchis, so no idea what it's worth.

Bianchi Touring Road Bicycle 1976 - $160 (link)

1976 Bianchi Touring Bicycle. Front and rear fenders, Flat Touring Handle Bars, 10 speed gears. Original owner. 100% original in near new condition. Road Bike. Original tires still on bike. Small frame size. Very Very low use, always stored inside.

[h=2]TANDEM ROAD BIKE GITANO - $250 (FULLERTON)[/h]
The frame looks a lot like my 1983 Gitane tandem, but mine came with Stronglight 99 cranks and Simplex derailleurs. It's fun, but flexy. The curved seat tube was to give the stoker more room without stretching the wheelbase too much. Mine also has an Atom drum brake (with an oversize 12mm axle) and tandem-duty 4-pawl Atom freewheel. I don't see any evidence of a drum brake on this bike, though, which is troubling. I wouldn't want to rely on only the cantilevers to stop this bike.

I like how the seller managed to mis-spell "Gitane" two different ways in the ad, despite the fact that it is spelled correctly on the bike itself.
