This could be interesting, expensive shipping and the frame has some rust around the BB shell but man that would be a pretty bike all fixed up.

Pretty good deal here, especially if you can pick it up. I almost pulled the trigger, but I'd like to go a little higher up the line when I finally pick up a Miyata.

It's a '80's Miyata 310 for $75.

[h=2]Colnago Masterlight - $680[/h]

56 cm Colnago Masterlight Art Deco Paint with two forks. Price is for frame and original threaded straight chrome fork plus a Reynolds no-thread carbon fork. Has chrome lugs and the blue/white/pink Lampre paint scheme. The new model of this frame was recently featured in several articles, and is identical except for the newer Colnago carbon fork. This is a forever frame in VG/EXC condition. If you want specific pictures, let me know. Better pics coming ...

Not sure about pricing...but thought others may want to see...

THIS is cool. I dunno about the price, and it sure as heck isn't going to make a decent commuter, but it's got the original speedometer, for chrissakes! https://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/bik/4205519753.html

[h=2]VERY RARE-Very cool,very vintage - amazing bike - great gift for him - $560 (PDX)[/h]

You won't see another one of these anytime soon....

Its a 1953 Pleasure Liner by Roadmaster. It is all original - with no rust and many extras! I am the second owner. The original owner kept it in his elderly mom's garage for 50 years under a piece of canvas. It is near museum quality and condition.

It has a working horn-tank, working vintage headlight, working horn that matches the light set and an original vintage speedometer (goes for $150 - 200 on ebay). Rides incredible.

Email or text if you are interested...

Thanks!

[h=2]Vintage Ross 10 Speed Bicycle - project bike - $10 (Jamaica Plain)[/h]

This bike needs new tires, a tune up, and possibly a bit more work. It's been in the basement for years & years.

I'm 5'10" and it fits me perfectly. Would be good for somoene a little bigger/smaller too.

From the crossbar to the ground, it measures about 31.5 inches

$10 takes it since it is a project bike. It is not rideable in its current condition. Pick up in JP.

[h=2]FIR front wheel for bike bicycle vintage - $20 (Jamaica Plain)[/h]

I don't know much about this since I found it in my basement. No idea how old it is. All I know that this is supposed to be a good wheel. It looks very straight to me.

Diameter is about 25". Might be about 26" since I measured just above the quick release.

$20 or best offer takes it.

Does it really cost $150 to ship a frame from Deutschland to the US?

ok, now, i'd actually like to pick this up, but if anybody else wants it, it's for an ok price and looks like minimal mech work, overall. the chainrings look in ok shape, but i can't say for certain what's really wrong with it....granted, it's a mishmash of tri color, suntour, dia compe, and sakae, i think. also, looks like a 56cm.

Of course, I tried too but I was about 8 hours late to the game.

Just for the heck of it, then I checked with Google Analytics to see if VintageLOTUSbicycles was getting any activity on the Lotus Triomphe page. After all, who the heck knows what a Lotus "Triomphe" is anyway and the ad and photos aren't very detailed so maybe I'll still have a chance to get it . . .

Five years ago I'd have been able to buy that bike, no problem. Through my website I think I've effectively screwed myself out of getting any more cheap Lotus bikes.

I wish the bike had been listed at $400.00, because at that price it would probably have knocked out 98% of the other interest, and I might have had a chance at getting it. Because it's a cool Lotus Triomphe, not just because it's a cheap Lotus Triomphe.

Hopefully someone will restore it and not just strip it for it's parts.

Yeah most people think of Lotuses as average mid level Japanese/Twaineses bikes or don't know what there are. Very few buyers would know just how nice and somewhat rare bike a 85 Triomphe in pearl pink is it was truely a top of the line bike when new which sold for 3x the price of most Lotus's.

Vintage Frejus Bicycle - $600 (Kembelsville)

Campagnola
I use this as a search term sometimes...

And I went to Kemblesville Elementary School.... just below Amish country. He didn't spell that one right, either.
