That's funny. I've seen bikes I've sold on CL show up a few years later. It's like finding out what your kids have been up to.

So one with a few less dings and scratches would be NOS?

I was just emphasizing what we see all the time, a good condition bike with plenty of chips, dings and scratches is often listed in "excellent condition" trying to justify an overly optimistic price.

This one is obviously in pretty good shape but excellent, not so much imo.

A fairly rough "excellent condition" PDG.

This Torpado has been on CL for awhile (months?). The seller started at $895 and is now down to $595. Might be worth checking out.

Agreed, probably needs at least a couple more Campy parts to move it along, even at that price.

Pretty nice, pretty cool and my size too!

That's better.
The extended headtube is interesting, I used to ride with a guy who had a Spectrum built like that.

I wonder how many people walk in the door and don't realize it ever changed hands? A shop I worked at had a bakery in it about 5 years before the shop opened and people still walked in to buy bread.

This is actually a pretty good deal if you want one, the recent one on piratebay was $1k.

They are not easy to find in complete good shape, too bad the Campy crank is gone, but that would be the other $250.

Just realized I have a friend that could have used this for the more upright riding position. He is struggling with a frame that has him "bunched up" seat to bars, but is close to good standover and seatube. Damnit Jim!
