It's dank (not the good kind) in Lawrence right now; that Olmo warms my mood and makes me want lemon-lime sorbet.

Yet another one where they couldn't even at the least put a junky saddle on it.

Vintage Somec Italian Bicycle - $525 (Concord, NH)

A late 70's Italian Made bike in fine working order.
56cm X 56cm
Very clean, lightly used
Previous owner had it repainted and had his name written in cursive on the top tube along with "Campagnolo".
I found a nice Somec sticks and covered his name on the driveside.
All shown in the photos.
Most everything is Campy on the bike.
"Reasonable" offers will be considered.
Here's some history on Somec Bikes in this link;
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Somec
This ad will stay up until the bike is sold.
Thanks
I'd never heard of Somec before and now I see two of them, and I'm really warming up to them.

Yeah but the great thing about Lawrence is if you can't ride today, you can always ride on The Day After.

OLMO Superlight Columbus Genius 54x54 - $475 (downtown)

make / manufacturer: OLMOUp for Auction is an OLMO Superlight made from Columbus Genius Tubing. Measures 54 x 54 c-t seat tube and c-c top tube. In very nice shape. A few nicks and paint scars, but no rust or dents/dings. Includes a nice Campy headset...

At the time (and probably still today) Genius was one of the finest tube-sets ever manufactured by Columbus.

A Genius spec sheet:

Excellent lightness; maximum resistance to stresses
Optimal rigidity
Reasons to use Genius

Athlete: Genius is the ideal choice for competition frames. Thanks to the 'Differential Shape Butted' concept the tubing weight has been safely reduced according to the distribution of stresses within the frame.
Framebuilder: Thanks to Nivacrom steel, Genius tubes offer long lasting mechanical properties. Positioning notches are marked for the proper assembling of the frame. Genius is conceived for TIG welding but different tubes are available for lug and fillet brazing too.

61cm Cilo 600 - Vintage- Beautiful - $400 (Providence)

'86-'87 handbuilt Cilo 600. Frame measures 61cm. Constructed with Japanese engineered Tange 1 steel tubing, on par with the best Columbus and Reynolds steel at the time. This Swiss beauty comes with a full Shimano 600 groupset (brakes, derailleurs, headset, crankset, bottom bracket, hubs, and cassette). The handlebars were made by Cinelli (you know 'em, right?) and the saddle is a leather Selle Italia Turbo. The wheels are 700c Araya Super Hard Anodized for greater durability and stopping power.

The bottom bracket has been rebuilt with fresh grease. Bar tape, cables and housing are new. The Continental Super Sport tires have plenty of life left in them.

The bike is all clean and tuned.

Come test!

If that was in ready to go + looking nicer (this is more weathered or original-ish condition here), $300 in Seattle/Portland/the NW would be pretty fair market value. It's mostly there, but $250 would seem more reasonable.

I can't post URL's yet, but the New Hampshire craigslist is showing a large Andre Bertin in pretty good shape.
