BOB JACKSON 753 ROAD BIKE

I know this guy, he's local to me. Good dude with some really sweet vintage bikes(mainly frames). Me being somewhat of a noob, i was in awe at pretty much all the frames he has. I dont know if anyone remembers here, but i asked about an '86 guiblato a little while ago. this is that guy. he's got a lot of nice frames and knows exactly what he has, not cheap, but never crap. man, and this is my size! sheesh what's a guy to do!?

What a beautiful frame

Here is a gorgeous 1940s Italian-buiilt Prinetti Stucchi frame. Hard to tell what fair market value is. It is expensive ($2200), but it's such a beautiful and uncommon frame. The workmanship, chrome finish and original paint are all fantastic. Worth checking out the photos, even if it's out of your price range:

Oh thank god that's not my size. Just as well. I got it my head to get a fixed Stucchi from the 20s.

Anyone looking for a large hardtail mtn bike with mid-fork rack bosses?

1987 Mongoose Alta that looks like at least a 23" frame. The seller is asking $200 firm. https://poconos.craigslist.org/bik/3806459461.html

That is cheap as long as the black areas aren't covering up some weird damage. I would hope it's not paint. 8 speed Tri color brifters, wooohoooo.
I found one of these a year ago for the same price and only beat out the other interested parties since I called first and was less than 5 miles away.
A 60cm example just sold on the auction site with Superbee Pro for $1,001. Looks bigger than a 52cm but I would driving to get it.

I saw that one the other day and had the same impression about the black paint. They sure didn't put it there for good looks...

Here's a sleeper
A little Fettling and a respray and this could be a nice one.
This is similiar to a Raleigh Blue Streak/Humber Clipper of the mid 60's.

What might be a Super Course mixte, which would have a 531 frame (main tubes at least), a relatively rare beast. The clue is the downtube shifters. Photos are too poor to tell if there's a 531 decal. Seller seems semi-knowledgeable from the ad. Only $60...but it's halfway to Iowa from Chicago!

Surprised the 970 weighs 26.8 lbs.

Stock claimed weight is 23.9.

Gel seat, cheap tires and barends must kill it.

KESTREL BIKE WITH CAMPAGNOLO 50th ANNIVERSARY GRUPPO - $2200 (Surry, NH)

image 1 image 2 image 3 image 4 image 5 image 6 image 7 image 8
Kestrel triathlon bicycle with Aerospoke wheels equipped with a Campagnolo goldplated 50th Anniversary Grupppo. A professional shop in Lebanon, New Hampshire put this bicycle together in 1987. At the time, the owner stated it was the most expensive bicycle his shop had ever created. The bicycle has had only one owner who competed in numerous triathlons as a middle of the pack triathlete. The package comes complete with the black Campagnolo case that originally housed the gruppo. In addition, the package comes complete with a Campagnolo Super Record Gruppo taken off a bicycle in 1984. All items have been used and have not been cleaned up for this sale. This is a rare opportunity to own one of the 15,000 Campagnolo 50th Anniversary Gruppos as well as a vintage Campagnolo Super Record Gruppo. The entire package is available for $2200 or best offer. Cash or certified bank check or PayPal accepted for payment. Must be picked up from current owner.

[h=2]Custom Italian 10-speed - $475 (Jamaica Plain)[/h]

1970's high quality Mirella Custom Italian 10-speed. Has high quality components including CampiRecord derailler, silver/gold finish. 22 1/2" double butted columbus tubing frame. Light weight. Very little use as it has been too big for me so in very good condition. Valued by local bike shop at $600. Excellent fast road bike. Needs tires. Can be seen at Ferris Wheels Bike Shop in JP (ask for Mark).
