[h=2]Classic Racing Bike, full Super Record, ex cond - $1700 (Bedford)[/h]

Classic steel racing bike. Made by master frame builder Ed Blank in Somerville MA in 1984. Bike was in storage for about 20 years, and only lightly used before/after storage. Complete overhaul a few years ago.

Columbus tubing, full Campy Super Record components. Lots of frame features -- braze-on shifter bosses, two sets of braze-on waterbottle nuts, braze-on front derailleur hanger, brake cable through top tube. Beautiful dark burgundy red.

Two sets of wheels, one sewup, one clincher, both in great shape, tight and true. Sewup wheels are top of the line -- anodized rims, oval spokes. Comes with extra chain, four extra Regina freewheels (assorted sizes), original brake pads and modern replacement, frame pump.

Measurements:
Bottom bracket to top tube, on center = 55.0 cm
Down tube to head tube, on center = 54.5 cm
Axles, on center = 96.5 cm

Araya Muddy Fox small mtn bike - 24" wheels

Here is something I came across that looks like a very nice, high quality tiny mountain bike. The seller said the stand over height at the middle of the top tube is 24" - 25". Lugged steel frame. It is very difficult to find mtn bikes of this quality in this size, so I thought I'd share it here.

21 speed survivor from the 80's Mountain Bike w/araya 24" wheels all original untouched..need tires . thanks Araya Components..Beautifully lugged frame... these mainly found in UK. (I think the seller is mistaken about the components though)

It's also not the UK Muddy Fox. Araya (Japanese company) had Muddy Fox as a model name, nothing to do with the other Muddy Fox.

That thing's been up for over a month, I'm still tempted by it.

LesterOfPuppets, from some research I did on the Araya Muddy Fox online, it seemed that Araya made many of the early MuddyFox bikes and I read somewhere that those labeled Araya were for the Japanese market. If you search Araya Muddy Fox online and look at the bikes that owners have posted, they seem to be very good bikes made with Tange tubing, some with Tange Prestige mtn tubing. Check this link for one. Someone that worked for Muddy Fox posted there.

It varies considerably. Shipping it via Greyhound should run below $50. Shipping via Fedex ground will be $85+. At a $160 price point, you're looking at a ~$250 touring bike. I'd say it's worth it to ship if Iowegian can facilitate for you.

The last bike I shipped via FedEx was $150+. The box was bit big like maybe a 57 frame in a 64 box though and I was told it was because of the size of the box that it was 3x normal price.

The last three bicycles I shipped were via Fedex.

$63 for a 57x57cm!

Check your box length. If you have to take the fork off to get it to size.
