Built by Torresini, like Italvega. This should be a very sweet-riding bike.

1984 Trek 500 Series - Full Restoration (57cm)

[h=2]1984 Trek 500 Series - Full Restoration (57cm) - $250 (Allston, MA)[/h]

© craigslist - Map data © OpenStreetMap

Riverdale Street at Western Avenue
(google map) (yahoo map)

condition: like new size / dimensions: (57cm) - (22 9/16")
serial number : 166831

-(57cm) / (22 9/16") frame size (center of crank to top of seat tube)
-Trek 500 Series (12 speed) (501 Chromoly Tubing) with fresh hammered silver paint
-Vintage Araya 700c wheelset with Seca tires (2500mi on wheelset, 150mi on tires)
-Bontrager SSR Seatpost
-NEW SRAM 830 Chain
-NEW stainless steel brake and derailleur cabling and cable housing
-6 speed rear cassette
-'Chris Stone' fabric upholstered seat

I inhereted this bike through a friend and am far too tall for it, so I decided to do a full tear-down restoration. Every single piece was pulled from the bike, inspected, taken apart, cleaned, and re-assembled. The frame was then cleaned and sprayed with a 'Hammered Silver' color. The bike was then put back together with all cabling, cable housings, and chain being replaced with fresh componentry. This is the PERFECT bike for someone looking for a vintage steel commuter with modern reliability as every aspect of the bike has had a once over. No legitimate cash offers will be refused!!! Delivery within a reasonable distance available!!! Call or text 24/7!!! Need to make room for another project!!!!!!

[h=2]Big beautiful blue peugeot px10 62x60 nervex lugs 531 + extras! Campy - $175 (Fenway)[/h]

© craigslist - Map data © OpenStreetMap

(google map) (yahoo map)

size / dimensions: 62x60

Up for grabs is a super cool seldom seen blue peugeot px10 an early enough model with beautiful nervex professional lugs and Reynolds 531 tubes the frame also features the rather rare non drive drop out horn

The frame also comes with a good amount of top end French parts including a beautifully polished open backed pivo stem and pivo bars wrapped in black cloth bar tape brakes are very nice MAFAC competition with awesome drilled levers (also set up and read to ride) also included and installed will be a Stronglight headset and French sized seat post the frame comes with huret jubilee front derailluer (needs tweaking and work) as well as huret over the bottom bracket clamp on cable guide lastly is an early set of campagnolo clamp on friction shifters

the paint on the frame is overall very nice for such an old frame missing a bit on the forks to reveal some of the chrome underneath

please note the drop out hanger is the french style (i.e. not threaded) so it will require a french style rear derailleur

55 cm 1994 Celeste Bianchi CX, Campagnolo Chorus/Record

[h=2]55 cm 1994 Celeste Bianchi CX, Campagnolo Chorus/Record - $1200 (Medford)[/h]

© craigslist - Map data © OpenStreetMap

(google map) (yahoo map)

condition: excellent size / dimensions: 55 cm

I am selling a gorgeous 55 cm 1994 Celeste Bianchi CX, Campagnolo Chorus/Record 8 speed bicycle handmade in Reparto Italy. The bike was virtually unused until 2012. The Campy Omega 19 rims still had their anodization on the brake track. It was a gift from a mechanic who never used it to a gentleman who was shortly thereafter struck by a vehicle, on a different bike. He never rode again and this bike sat in his house until I purchased it.

I am selling it because despite my absolute adoration of this machine, it will never fit me properly.

I rode it. I raced it in some cyclocross races. And I kept meticulous care of it. Last time I fully disassembled the bike to clean each individual ball bearing and repack them all with grease, I also added a light coating of framesaver to keep the frame perfect. I've also replaced the rear rim due to brake track wear -- the new rim has maybe 80 miles on it.

I can sell this bike with spare parts including:
3 quill stems (80mm, 90mm and 130mm)
3 varying sized handlebars (2x 42cm wide with different reach and drops, 1x 44cm or 46cm wide)
Spare Campagnolo 8 speed Record front and rear hub
Extra cassettes (13-23 and 14-26)
Some extra lever parts

The bike will be sold with new condition Ritchey Speedmax cyclocross tires. They have a low profile center tread and are good for riding on pavement and the side knobs can hook up off road. If you're not racing this bike these tires are keepers. The bike will be sold with the original Selle Italia celeste green and blue saddle. The ITM stem and handlebar that are original will be sold with it.

This bike has been loved and practically worshiped. It has never been involved in a road crash or accident. I expect serious inquiries only. This bike is worth significantly more than I am asking for if I wanted to wait around for the right collector to find it but I'd honestly prefer it finds a good home with someone who'll love it as much as I did and use it as the original builder cutting and welding each tube together intended.
