A friend of mine is moving and asked me to get the word out about her Trek 1220. It's 49cm, located in NYC (BK) and ready for local pick up. She'd like $400 for it, or $375 without the saddle. I have a very nice reynolds lugged peugeot for sale. The bike is a 56 cm frame. It has mavic rims, simplex derailers. a brooks professional saddle (will need replacing). Beautiful high end peugeot, with some light restoration this could look amazing or ride it as is. It shifts and brakes perfectly. For the most part, these are NIB or NOS parts. I do not warranty that they are ALL NIB or NOS. There are three pieces not in the box: (2), (12) and (18).
Part (2), the Record Pedals show no evidence of being mounted and/or used in any way...and, in my opinion, they are quite gorgeous!
Part (12), the Front Derailleur that is not in a box. I researched it and believe it to be C-Record, but am not 100% certain. It is in very good shape and shows no signs of being mounted (no scratches, tool marks or anything else on it).
Part (18), the Gran Sport Front and Rear 36 Hole hubs. These hubs show signs of being built into wheels. The spoke holes have signs of wear, but they are in very good shape, nonetheless.

Has been built and ridden, but it is hard to tell because it is in such great shape. 27.0 silver Uno seat post included. No rust, no scratches. Horizontal drops make for an easy conversion to fixed gear. The colors aren't my taste, but they sure do draw attention.

Its time to move out one of my favorite bikes so that I can invest in some other things. I have a 1980s Bianchi (I think 83) that I have been using to commute with for many years. I have kept up on it and it works wonderfully. The seat post is stuck but there are many tricks out there to get it out (ammonia) . Its stuck at my height so i never found a need to adjust it!
Brake hoods and rear dereailuer are not orginial. All else is Bianchi/Campy from the time.
Bike will come without wheelset - make me an offer with the wheels and you can have them!
