Cilo Road Bike 54cm Shimano 105 - $350 (Jamaica Plain)

Good condition Cilo road bike, frame made of Tange 1 steel. It’s 54cm, so best for someone 5’7-5’11.

The seat post, bar tape and break hoods are brand new. It has all Shimano 105 components, downtube 105 shifters, 6 speed in the back. The shifting is smooth, the break pads can use a little re-aligning.

It’s a really good looking bike that can go fast. And is ready for a home where it’ll be used and loved.

The wheels turns...

Back when Noglider started this thread it was an ad for 25 bikes (price was $20).

Inflation has kicked in so price is up, $3500 - Buffalo CL

https://buffalo.craigslist.org/bik/d...887334529.html

Bicycle shop inventory. Video is entertaining but I just don't see any real value.

Older Cannondale R500 road bike - $100 (Davis Square)

Oldie but goodie aluminum frame USA made Cannondale (R500). Well used, but lightweight and serviceable. New front inner tube. Presta valves. Needs a tuneup (derailleur adjustment) and probably a new front tire.

Frame seems to be 53cm which should fit a rider height between 5’3”-5,7”.
I'm 5’8” and it works for me, though maybe a touch small.

Price firm.

Bike itself looks pretty rough -and is missing a lot- but this could make for a cheap 'Franken-build'. Plus it comes with a free workstand.

Male Bicycle- Trek 5500 Carbon Frame-Colnago Headset etcIn house Built - $220 (Allston)

Trek 5500 OCLV Carbon Frame(Online Price: around 400 dollars)
Colnago Handlebar-Headset(Online Price: Around 100 dollars)
Campagnolo Breaks(Online Price: Around 50 dollars)
Fizik Seat(>100 dollars)
Shimano Record-Gear(Online Price: Around 345 dollars)
Giro-Livestrong-Helmet(Not Used!!!)
Selle Italia Seat(As A Backup seat, in case you like this one better)
Heavy Duty Bike Repair Stand Adjustable Maintenance FoldingBike Rack w/Tool Tray
It is around 9Kgs in total(with tires). It has an excellent material and especially if you are willing to put some work in this bike, you can make miracles out of it. Or later if you decide that you are not interested in using this bike, you can just sell the pieces separately and I am sure sure can make more money out of it. Currently I am using this bike as a fixie, just because I was too lazy to put the rest of the parts. But it is very possible to turn this bike into a regular speed bike.

The thread was chopped leaving that post as the first, but I didn't start the thread, and it's much older than that.

It's not at all uncommon to sell a road bike with "test ride" pedals, since the buyer may opt for pedals to match her/his shoe/cleat preference. Ugly bike, anyway.

^^^^ And those yummy thumbies, and all that chrome, and the oh-so-'80s Sugino/Sakae chainring design -- at that price it should be GONE.

So you don't find that stem/hbar combo overly much for that frame? Maybe I'm the only one who remembers the early Trek carbon frames being.....not great.
