Vintage 1973 Gazelle Road Bike. 27" wheels. 60cm frame. Made in Holland. $120

The Nishiki is going to be the better bike between those two.

Yeah grab the Nishiki. The Gazelle is a junker. There were some nice Gazelles but that is not one of them.
If you swap out bars/stem/derailleurs the Nishiki could be 22.5LBS or less. Plus the Nishiki has all standard parts. The gazelle might have an odd bottom bracket thread.

The Nishiki! where could it have been Assembled I wonder???? Dam Taiwanese or...Japan! Which I would Respect much more if So Japan.
What about 4130 Chromoly?. What are the Strengths of this for a Roadbike?
I own a 85 Elkhorn MT bike. With some CRO-MO Handle bar. Its Light Strong and Rust Fighter!
Would I still get the Same Light Feel and Still have the High strength Properties out of 4130 Chromoly?
