List your current projects, limit 4:

In order of importance:

1-Centurion Cinelli Equpe. All parts on hand, need time.
2-Centurion Ironman Carbon. ditto, with frame enroute.
3-Centurion Ironman steel (86). all parts on hand, need time.
4-Mondonico SLX. gathering parts without haste.
For the first time, ever, all are for me, and all fit.

Bikes: 2002 Bianchi Vigorelli, 2002 S-works CX, 1973 Raleigh Super Course conversion, 1979 Raleigh Competition, 1973 Raleigh Professional Track, 1980 Austro Daimler Inter-10

1) 1973 Raleigh Pro Track - just waiting on new sew-ups...if they get here by today or tomorrow, I should be done by the end of the weekend *fingers crossed*

2) 1980 Miyata Gran Touring - needs the works: bearing overhaul, new cables, tires, wrap, wheel truing and re-tensioning. Not sure where I want to go with this one after that--it pre-dates the 1000 model and has fewer braze-ons (but maintains canti brakes), so it would make one hell of a commuter/sport tourer, but not a good candidate for full-on touring. I have some sks fenders hanging around that might be nice on it, too.

3) 1971/2 Raleigh Super Course - another question mark. Needs the usual, but I've also noticed that the cottered crank is producing chainline problems (skipping on the big crank ring...odd). Was thinking about a 5sp city bike for this one...once I get the crank figured out...we'll see.

4) 198- Trek 410 - bottom of the heap. Weird mishmash of components (Tiagra rd, Victory fd and cranks...), paint in need of help. This one's spent a lot of time in the basement...poor thing.

Bikes: 1995 Trek 520 is the current primary bike.

1. Buildoff bike: frameset with a few unique aspects and needs, potential rear wheel on hand, possible saddle, possible handlebar, need a bunch of stuff.

2. 1973 World Voyageur: most parts on hand, un-doing previous owner's upright position conversion, a non-correct handlebar and brake levers semi-mounted. Rough fit, will need a complete overhaul once fitted out.

3. Motobecane Grand Jubile: BB mostly out pending right side race removal, needs total overhaul and general cleaning, will need tires and brake pads and cables. I'll get to it eventually.

4. Schwinn World Sport: overhaul started Fall 2008, frame has been in the basement rack since Oct 2008, lost interest in it (like 0 (zero) interest). Only reason it is in the top four is because the garage is unheated and down below 10degF inside and the warm basement is where I do my winter bicycle work and the Schwinn is in the way now. I'll probably gather up the pieces to it and either finish it or offer it up as swap fodder (all or part) in exchange for components for other projects.

I'll probably do a singlespeed conversion to another bike before I get to any of the above, but in a totally secondary importance capacity.
Biggest needs right now are time and space. And maybe some motivation sprinkled on top like nutmeg on eggnog.

1. 70s Rollfast Bromleigh 24 (for my youngest son). Bent fork has been a showstopper so far (got snobbed by several local places including a custom frame builder/restorer -with stellar reputation may I add- in a "these bikes do not worth our time" way.) Some parts in hand, looking for a sale on alloy 24 inch wheels and tires and another set of arms and a pipe to see whether we can bend the fork back in place, before I bite the bullet and try to find a different one...

2. 89 Raul Mesa RDM. 90% of parts in hand (everything minus a 26.6 seat post, 600EX italian BB and 600EX headset.) Tri/TT buildup, with a knee-breaking 11-16 straight freewheel. It will be slow because I would not need it until the summer.

3. Early 80s/late 70s Allentown-built Ross Professional touring bike. Everything on hand minus brake cables and handlebar tape, which are on the way. Not sure what I will do with that one... so the build might be more involved than that.

4. A mystery 87+ red Bianchi that will arrive next week. Just couldn't pass on that one and depending what it is, the project may take shape

1. 1970 Raleigh Pro. Rusty spokes removed, trying to decide whether to use original Weinman tubular rims with corroded eyelets or a better pair of Fiamme's I have laying around. Obtained Brooks Pro saddle, original spec bars and stem in the mail.

2. 80's Grandis. Ready to be assembled with Super Record parts. Needs a little touch-up paint.

3. Gitane Super Corsa. Waiting to be stripped. Will decide the next steps once I see the condition of the chrome underneath. Obtained Ideale 90 saddle.

4. Litespeed Team Issue. To be built with 9-speed Ultegra triple drivetrain for a couple of double centuries next year. Still need to get derailleurs and a bottom bracket.

1) 1973 World Voyageur : Just bought it yesterday. Thinking it needs a bit of corrosion removal, bearings repacked, recabled, etc + fitting it for me. Trying to sort out why a top of the line touring bike has next to no brazeons...

2) 1980 Centurion Super Lemans - Found the frameset @ the scrapyard. Have most of the parts, but still sourcing a rear derailuer and a crankset. Big (62cm+) frame, so not sure how much love it'll get.

3) 1986 Raleigh Technium 440. Smaller 48cm frame - fixing it up for my very short male roomie. Thinking a 700C swap to lower the standover a bit more, and an overhaul.

4) Unknown year - AMF Hercules ladies 3 speed. Got it for free on craigslist, and liked it, so am fixing it up for any future g/f's I might find. Needs a new uncracked SA 3 speed shifter + cables,a brakeset and new tires.

1980ish Macario Professional. I want to have it all-chromed with all silver components. I have a 60's Record Pista crank for it so it'll only have one ring.

1. 60's Legnano woman's city bike. All parts on hand, just needs overhaul, new tires, and hopefully I can find some suitable skirt guards - the elastic kind.
2. 1981 Trek 750-PRO frameset (531/UF semi-vert dropouts). Probably going to repaint and put my Super Record group on it.
3. 1954 Legnano Tipo Roma. If I could find an original fork, it would be completely original except for tires.

Bikes: Many

Ugh, none are really what you call projects since all they need is for me to get off my duff and finsh assembly.

1. Ironman Master - need to run the cables.
2. Rossin - Still sitting and waiting for me to decide I can ride a 59cm. All parts on hand, just need to do it. Might need a seat tube reaming.
3. Condor - need to mount the tires to the replacement wheels since I traded the tubbies, and swicth the bar ends to Ergo's. Probably swith the bars and stem too.
4. Super Secret project bike that has been at the painter's for almost a year and half. It is supposed to be ready by Christmas. All parts on hand. Thank goodness for Rad/55 or I would be more down about the painter thing, lol.

There is another in route, but it doesn't count here..........................

I haven't even gotten to/mentioned the garage inventory yet.

I'll assume that putting studded tires and a new crankset/BB on my Raleigh Super Course MkII for winter commuting doesn't count, so

1. 1951 Raleigh Clubman: Mostly I have to build a rear wheel and had planned to do that with a 40-hole 27" alloy Weinmann rim as the original Dunlop Special Lightweight steel rim was toast and a replacement is rare and spendy, however . . .
2. 1958 Raleigh Lenton Grand Prix: I purchased this mostly whole bike from a listmember/local bike buddy, and it needs a great deal of work. However, it did come with its original wheels, yup, 27" Dunlop Special Lightweight rims w/ a great deal of rust. So I might see if the rear rim will clean up reasonably well with Oxalic acid and donate it to the Clubman; however, ...
3. 1960s Raleigh Gran Sport: This is a frameset bought off of eBay, in decent shape, and the parts from the Lenton Grand Prix would suit it well. Hmm. Or I might build it as a club-bike with an internal rear hub.
4. Velo Cheapo 2010 project bike: I have the frameset and a concept and a few parts on hand. A few more decisions to make and a wish for warmer weather between now and March 1 so I can put some paint on this one.

^^^^ ^^^^ clever

1. Greg Diamond - need a 26T DA freewheel, some plan to polish the scratched DA seatpost and stem, and some tubular glue...and to assemble it
2. 84 Paramount - need a triple front derailleur, a freewheel, the hops out of a prospective rear wheel, and assembly
3. 72 Raleigh Sports - a new keyed stem bolt, and a complete overhaul - I'm gonna leave a lot of the patina on this one, though

1. 1971 Mercian King of Mercia tourer. Getting the bottom bracket shell replaced/new paint at Mercian right now. All parts (except for some Honjo fenders) are sitting at home waiting for the frame to arrive!

2. 1990-1991 Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra. Purchased this NOS from a nice guy who bought it in '94 and never built it up. Currently collecting early 2000s Campagnolo Chorus 10sp components. Yeah, pre-carbon stuff.

3. DeBernardi track bike. My daily rider, so its constantly getting messed with. Just got the front fork drilled and gonna put a nice Campy Record brake caliper on there. Waiting on a longer Cinelli 1A, and will replace the Miche cranks with Sugino 75s at some point.

4. Early 1970s Italian track bike. Have almost everything...but the frame. You know how it goes. Looking for something around 59-60cm.

1. 1975 Wizard - repack bottom bracket, repack headset, lace and tension wheels, new derailleur cables/housing, toe clips and straps, trade the 105 FD for a suntour cyclone FD (anyone interested?) and last I need to make a final decision on gearing.

1. 1985 or so Pinarello Record - tried 8 speed Campy Record parts, but now I'm going to use Super Record, just need a few things - seatpost (fluted in 27.0), FD (braze-on), Cinelli bars
2. PX-10 - fancy lugs - true wheels and glue tires (first time to glue tires)
3. 1987 Cannondale Black Lightning - give frame a good wax and reinstall cleaned/lubed components
4. Torpado - wax frame and install components

Bikes: 86 Katakura Silk, 87 Prologue X2, 88 Cimarron LE, 1975 Sekai 4000 Professional, 73 Paramount, plus more

1. Build up Diamondback frameset from Robbie Tunes. All parts in hand, just have to decide how good of component set to use.
2. Rehab Specialized MTB (garage sale find).
3. Rehab Fuji MTB (garage sale find).
4. Rehab Schwinn LeTour (neighborhood find).

None fit me unfortunately.

Several more in line right now (a couple of Cannondales and a couple of Miyatas), but limited to listing four.

Bikes: 1986 Alan Record Carbonio, 1985 Vitus Plus Carbone 7, 1984 Peugeot PSV, 1972 Line Seeker, 1986(est.) Medici Aerodynamic (Project), 1985(est.) Peugeot PY10FC

I only have one present C&V resto project going on, my Vitus Carbone Plus 7 restoration, and it's my first ever.
I got it as a full runner from eBay last fall
It turned into a full "Tout French" restoration project from where it started as just a Shimano 7400 DA clean-up/tune-up job.
The DA components were just too tired to come up with the quality project product that I want to achieve with the bike which is pretty much my dream French back from back in the 80's. Frame is in excellent shape and only required some cleaning and polishing. There's barely a nick or scratch on the whole frame Fork was a little bit more beat up, but it cleaned up real nice after applying some elbow grease.
I'm only a crankset, BB and pedals away from finishing the restoration. Unfortunately it might take a bit longer to get these because they're ending up to be costing the most money for this project....but I can't wait till the season starts next year and finally get to ride it!

1) Steel Dual suspension Y framed MTB (not vintage) for my nephew's new wife for Christmas. Frame painted in psychedelic, all used parts on hand, Viscount's making me some special stickers for her in Swedish - just need to figure how to fit the rear swinging arm assembly onto the frame! Also got to strip, tidy & rebuild a similar larger version to sell to fund some more builds.

2) 1970's (?) Coventry Eagle "Commodore" complete road bike in tatty order. Reynolds 453 titanium manganese steel butted frame tubes, forged drop outs. Strip, refurbish & rebuild. Might keep this one ?

3) Unknown frame, light, lugged steel, racing geometry, bottle & DT lever bosses, derailleur hanger. Strip brush painted finish to bare metal & respray in white or ivory single colour enamel, build wheels from used parts on hand, assemble from piles of used parts on hand. This might be my all weather training ride/hack next year.

4) 1960's Vindec 3 speed. Get SA hub working (old cable problem) and fit serrated washers to stop rear wheel from pulling over. Polish it up, ride it a bit then pass it on to my brother in law who'd like a bike like this.

In between these - TIDY THE GARAGE so I can find things and work in there without tripping over!

Happy Christmas all!
