Never ridden a Series Paramount, but have ridden several 105 equipped bikes. I have nothing bad to say about 105 at all.
Glad you like the Paramount.

I've got the identical bike (I think I posted that last time around) and I love it but, because I scored a new bike ('09 Synapse) on CL I have the Paramount on the 'Bay right now...1 bid and 46 watchers with 20 hours left to go..I think they are more popular than I expected!!
