I've got an extra loop frame DL-1, though I'd jump on the craigslist post above if it's in your area. Mine is a 1967, nothing real special but it's all there. I bought it without thinking about who would ride it. Too small for me, my daughter has 3 bikes already. It's in Saint Paul, MN.

Bought a 1973 Raleigh LTD-3 off craigslist for the correct seat for my Twenty, and discovered that it was too good to part out. Even has the original uncracked Raleigh Record tires on it. Looks like a nearly new bike, save for the incorrect Schwinn seat and stem that I grabbed for my Superbe. 5th Raleigh.

I got a chance to free the seized seat post, bring the seat up about 2.5 inches, and wring it out around the neighborhood this evening.
The bad news is that the B-72 is a badly wounded warrior now; the good news is that I'm not. [The thick leather didn't allow the post to get thru when it failed over a speed bump that I hit at about 10-15 mph...]

I have a double leg Trygg kickstand like that on my Sports and it's great. It made the bike much easier to park and lock up without leaning it against stuff and damaging the paint.

Apparently with enough time and attention to detail it is possible to rebuild the seat. I don't think its been done with a B72 or B66/68 yet but it is something I am contemplating. You might want to take a look at this thread:

Pedal to the medal
Beautiful builds. I've been kicking around building a 3-speed bike with upright bars. If it ever happens, I'll post some pictures.

The Raleigh paint also gets my vote for most durable. I've had better luck with it lasting than Schwinn, Columbia, or Peugeot.

Once I got through the deteriorating clear coat the black paint actually did shine up like wet glass. I use 3M rubbing compound and watch the cloth. Brown is clear coat, black is paint.

I think that's the same stuff that BSA used to paint their motorbike frames. Really durable and *really* hard to remove. The way I understand British three-speeds, durability was rather high in the list of priorities. That explains why black was such a common color as the black was really tough.

So,with a little reluctants went and picked her up. She was coated with a blackish red oily residue that made the rear wheel look like it had surface rust and the paint dull looking.Quick trip to the self serve car wash for a rinse took care it.
3rd gear has some issues and excessive backpeddling to engage the brake make me wonder if its one reason it looks like it just came out of a time capsule.Friend at the shop said he will rebuild the hub and true the wheel for a twenty.
The glue residue from the shop sticker was giving goo-gone,dish soap and rubbing alcohol a run for is money and would just smear it making it worse.
A 'Huh who knew' moment the paint sealer made the residue disappear like magic!
Can someone suggest a seat? This one needs to go,much like riding atop a weeble wobble.
