Nice Job Julian! I would take that over the Vent Noir if it should ever come to that.

Bikes: to many to list
I bought this 1985 Ilkeston frame off Ebay several years ago. Just now getting around to outfitting it with full Dura Ace, excepting the Campy headset which I'll eventually get to changing out. For now, it's a ready new ride for Spring.
It's very reminiscent in configuration of the "Hotrod (Schwinn) Circuit" I enjoyed for a brief period last year. I hope the ride experience is as good. I'm expecting so.
I particularly like the paint scheme. It's "custom" from the factory, using the common Raleigh red/yellow but in a sharp minimalist fade that is somehow more refreshing to my eye than the traditional color blocks that are otherwise pervasive. I've never seen another like it.
I enjoyed the recent thread showing the various levels of Raleigh build quality, namely illustrated by lug brazing. It's hard to find anything about the construction of this particular frame to fault.
Comments/criticism invited. And no, the fork is not bent.
Two clicks get big pics.

Thinman, I get those stands from my LBS, although they're becoming hard to get. Maybe because they're so inexpensive - $12 -15. They can't be making much profit on them. I think they're available online at some of the big guy "stores", I haven't looked in a long time.
Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Thin Man, Velo orange carries those stands for 19.95 here. I have one and think they it's great.

I'm bumping this because it reminds me of how much fun it is to ride in the warm weather that is just around the corner. And because someone asked me to.
This one continues to grow in my estimation.
Cheers.

What a stunning ride! That is one of the best Raleighs I've ever seen. I like the subtle, but well applied details. Got any pics of it being ridden, (preferably through corners)? That's what I want to see.
