Removing anodization from threadless stem

I have a bike that is screaming for a silver threadless stem. I have a bunch of black anodized stems and wondered if there is a way to remove the anodization?

Thanks

RFC

Sand the anodized surface clean with varying degrees of wet and dry sandpaper. The polish the alloy surface to a chrome like shine. It is a bit of work but I can be done. There might be an easier way but this is how I do it.

Make sure it's the Heavy Duty yellow can and not the odorless blue can. The latter doesn't do squat. The yellow can rules!
