PRANAFA Vintage hub ID?

Or is it BRANAFA? Can anyone suggest who the maker is of this very old looking double fixed hub? Which language uses those double dots over the A? Scandanavian perhaps? The logo is a little surreal. The threading is english.

I was wondering if the FA is an appended short form like Inc., Ltd, or SA. So it would be a PRANA FA etc.

German, made motorcycle and moped parts...could be as old as the '20s
Edit, Yes but they also made these:
manual hair clippers! A versatile company...

Fast and cropped...just how I like it!

Thanks for that. I couldn't find anything bike related.
