made in the same factory ?

I just picked up a motobecane nomade I I picked up a raleigh triumph 10 speed a couple weeks ago . I was adjusting the brakes and airing tires on them today. both bikes are made in taiwan the frames of these bikes are identical the lugs are the same braze-ons the same . If you stripped the componets and decals you would have a hard time telling them apart. Were the frames made in the same factory?

There's a good chance, since neither company owned a factory in Taiwan, as far as I know.
