Quote: No offense meant to all of you Paramount fans, but the bike looks a bit odd to me with the dull components vs chrome frame.
Flash photography does not suit chrome when mixed with clear anodized aluminum (and as the shifters point out, non-anodized aluminum fares little better). Why? Take a long look at the chrome. It looks black. I won't go into details of how or why this happens with a photograph taken with no thought given to lighting, but that's the way it is.

Compare it with these photos - the first taken in natural sunlight, the second in the shade. Same Schwinn chrome, same Nuovo Record components. Quite a difference, eh?

Maybe you should remove all the unnecessary components and make it a fixie. Problem solved.

A mechanic of a local shop - which shall remain nameless - suggested that I do just that to the P13 in those photos, when I brought it into the shop as a frame and fork.

Mack Cycle.
