I could stand to match the set on my daily rider. These aren't the best pics, but you can see the wheels in the thread linked at the bottom. I'll see if I can get some better pics tomorrow. Let me know if you've got a match to either.

I also have a black rimed 700c front wheel with a sticker on the rim that says "Matrix 550" and no name on the hub. Let me know if you need it.

If anyone has a random extra 27" front or rear they'd let go for cheap, PM me. I need a set (doesn't have to be matching, so if you've got one of the two let me know) for a Peugeot I'm putting together that currently has a really wobbly rusted steel wheel-set.

Here's some pics of the orphan wheels that were pretty good models and easy to get my hands on. I have other lower end orphans, and probably more good orphans as well.

Right now, I either need a rear match to the Ultegra 6600 with Mavic Open Pro rim front wheel below, or a front match to the Ultegra 6500 rear I have below. The Ultegra 6500 rear is kind of unusual, with black spokes and red nipples.

Basically, I am looking to put together something with a decent (32 +/-) spoke count, nine speed, to uprgrade a Paramount.

Thanks!

Here's a brief description:

1. Campy Victory Strada tubular. Came off an early 19902 Giant Cadex. All the rest of the wheels are clinchers.

2. Modern Shimano low spoke (16) front wheel, unsure of model. "YB" date code. (February 2000)

3. Shimano 105 HB 5500 hub/unknown anodized rim, very little wear, 36 spoke. "WH" date code. (August 1998)

4. Shimano Ultegra 6600 hub, Mavic Open Pro rim, 32 spoke. "DB" date code. (February 2005)

5. Shimano Ultegra 6500 hub, unknown rim, 32 spoke, rear, "BC" date code on cassette. (March 2003)

As Bill stated I do get a lot of fronts also but I do have some good rears with no match. I will start going through some of them and see what I have, wheels around here are like rabbits put one down and and by the next day there will be three of them there.

But only front wheels are breeding in my garage!
