Apollo Bicycles - info? Thoughts?

I think it's a Japanese brand but I can't find much about them online. Anyone have any thoughts on the quality of their bikes? I have seen a few and they look to be pretty mid-range and solid.

From: Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada - burrrrr!

Bikes: 1958 Rabeneick 120D, 1968 Legnano Gran Premio, 196? Torpado Professional, 2000 Marinoni Piuma

Apollo bicycles are pretty decent, offering entry level to high end bikes. I have owned several. Perhaps the nicest so far, is my Apollo "Gran Touriste".
