Elite Roadmaster 10 Speed Question

quick question if anyone can help. just salvaged an Elite Roadmaster to use as a commuter bike.
1) is there a way to determine age of bike?
2) i've been reading about a company called Pacific who later manufactured the bike. What years did they manufacture, and did they do a better job manufacturing bike than the earlier company?

Bikes: A few

Q 1. Look to the bike, if it's all original check the components. Sometimes you can date it by what they are. Some will even have years stamped on them.

Q2. No info there.
