Bikes: 72 Cilo Pacer, 72 Gitane GT, 72 Peugeot PX10, 73 Speedwell Ti,l, 75 Peugeot PR-10L, 80 Colnago Super, 81 Zinn, 85 ALAN Cross, 85 De Rosa Pro, 86 Look 753, 86 Look KG86, 89 Parkpre Team, 90 Parkpre Team MTB, 90 Merlin

The recent thread re finishing touches on handlebar tape has me obsessing about mine. Poll time: What do you think, blue or white? (The blue wasn't a perfect color match, so I tested one side with plain white, too.)

Final build pics will have to wait until I can recover the leather on the badly-worn flite saddle--something I've never done before. If anyone has suggestions for sourcing leather, I'm all ears.

In the meantime, I can't stop looking at the newly polished shifters, which, IMHO, look so much nicer than they did with the original dark anodized finish.

I say go with blue, given all detailing that you did. The tape matches the frame blue pretty well IMO. The cable housing is what appears to be the darker non-matching blue. But I still wouldn't change that. I guess I'm just a sucker for the blue details.

Blue cable ends? Nice.
