Help: Trek 2300 year 2000
Hello, I'm looking for a Trek 2300 year 2000, preferably metal flake yellow. I've always wanted this bike but it's hard to find them. A few years ago one slipped through my hands and i regret it. If you can send a few photos of your own that would be appreciated. Such a beautiful bike and I would like some photos of it. Thanks!

Bikes: Upright and Recumbent....too many to list, mostly Vintage.
Perhaps try the road forum.
I didn't know 2000 was Vintage....I've got some Wine to Drink!

Wrong forum (I see I just got beat to it). This is the classic and vintage forum. A 2000 Trek is neither. Maybe you can get some hits on the regular road forum.
As far as pictures, do a google search, and I can just about guarantee you will find links to Trek 2000s on flickr or photobucket.

Bikes: Lemond, Gios, Fuji, Trek, too many to write
I had a Lemond from late 90's. Looked similar. Same wheels. Yah, it loud wheels (in color). I like low key stuff. And I like a lot of spokes. Great looking bike though. Very retro 2000. 1" fork (threaded too, I thought they went threadless models by that time). I think starting with 98 Lemonds, most of the better models where threadless but still 1". BTW, those wheels are super strong. Well, I only weigh 135'ish and don't look for potholes. But they were nice wheels. I still have them. I think you will be limited to 9 speed though. Oh yah, wrong forum, go to the roadies.

Around that time, they were basically the same bikes. I was just saying that the components were a lot like mine. Different frame. But I think that's Alu frame right? For a wheel with little spokes, those things were tough as nails. I still have them.
