Single Speed Coaster Brake Options?

Single Speed Coaster Brake Options?
I wanted to get a wheel built with a single speed coaster brake. I asked the mechanic to use a Sturmey Archer hub, which I could have sworn existed even as recently as several months ago. But he tells me there is no SA single speed coaster hub listed in any of the dealer catalogs. Does anybody know what happened? Did they recently discontinue it or was I delusional in imagining it existed? Is Shimano really the only option for a single speed coasterbrake hub nowadays?..

I would choose the Velosteel myself because I like the way it looks and I've read nothing but good things about it.

Still up in the air, but I am 90% certain it's happening. I have some spare rear wheels and rims and I had this idea that I'd turn one into a fixed wheel and the other into coaster (to avoid drilling for a rear brake).

In Colombia they are standard equipment for workbikes. They are rather inexpensive, usually under 25 USD hub + cog.
What driver style did you get? There is your ordinary driver that works with the usual coaster brake/3 speed cogs; but there is also a version that is threaded for an ISO track cog and lockring. Reputedly, this second version lasts significantly longer due to the sprocket being screwed on.
