Legend Creek Cycles...ever heard of them???

I recently bought a bike that was made by Legend Creek Cycles. I can't find any info on them. The frame is Reynolds 531 and has some very nice lug work. It's equipped with Nuevo Record components. The kid I bought it from said his Uncle had told him he had paid nearly $3,000 for it. I would appreciate any info you might have....thanks

Sounds like a custom bike but you need to post pictures for the more experienced officialnados to answer.

There is no 'E' in Nuovo.

Other than that, I concur with Mr Edwards: This Post Is Useless Without Pics.

I can help you understand How Old Your Bike Is. Or whether or not it is a Quality Bicycle. I can even help determine Your Bicycles Value. But we could all be in a better position to help if we had some pictures to work with...

Hope this is a help...

Legend Creek Cycles was operated out of Euclid Bike & Ski in Euclid Ohio in the early/mid 1980's. They made custom frames to order. They used mostly (only?) Reynolds 531 tubing. I don't know how many they build or when they ceased operations. But I don't think they were in the business very long. Their work was nice.

Who actually built the frames?

Two guys built the frames, their names are Jack and Tom. I don't remember their last names. Sorry.
