Bikes: I used to have many. And I Will again.

Darn it! I was hoping to avoid fixing my rear differential today.
Anyone up for a Pagan 60K?

I did 50 miles, starting at 7am. The fog was thick the entire ride. The mist on my glasses didn't help visibility. The brakes, despite being shoed with Kool Stop Salmons, were slow to react. Many of the roads were eerily desolate. Hundreds of slugs were strewn across several sections of roads. The little trickling creeks were rushing like foamy rapids. I thought several times that this all may portend The End.

Alas, I made it home.

Bikes: Upright and Recumbent....too many to list, mostly Vintage.

We saw Mennonites on our ride today. If they didn't get raptured nobody did.

I did 50 tonight. Rode 8 to pick up a 25-year old triathlete, and she followed me for about 35, then I rode home.
It's a tough gig, but someone has to do it. I love hot weather.

Where does it say that their whole body gets taken up to heaven and not just their souls? Maybe an earthly shell/body is left behind that is just running on autopiliot? With some of the ultra-religious folks I know it would be hard to tell if they were on auto-pilot or the lights were still on inside.

What Zaphod neglected to mention was that that many of said Mennonites were playing baseball. Loudly, and enthusiastically. I can't imagine a bunch of earthly shells left behind to have that much fun.

AND, there was a group of them (3) walking along the road all listening to the same I-Pod. They looked like they were having a good time as well

Bikes: See my sig...

After the rapture I usually just want to cuddle up.

In other news it would appear that the recently deceased Macho Man Randy Savage is the reason the rapture did not come to pass.
