just a couple questions....
ok well i ended up buying a track bike from the 80's today and it came with some other random goodies that the seller gave me as well.
i got this pair of Galli Crank Arms, they look really nice, and are rather light, couldn't find them on velobase.com, i've seen them on a bike before but couldn't remember where. Are they anything special, what bikes did these usually come on? and are they worth anything really, or is it just a normal crankset from way back when, here are the pictures, sorry they aren't that good cause they're from my iphone:

question 2, i gotta remove some headsets from some road frames with one inch forks, which size cup remover tool do i need so i can hammer them out, 1 1/8 or 1/4, i was guessing it'd be the smaller one but i wanted to be sure before i got the LBS to order one. of course i guess i could've asked them when i call tomorrow but unfortunately i trust the ppl on this forum more.

I had some Galli Super Criterium brakes I really liked. I've only ever seen the criterium series, not familiar with the cranks you have there, but I like the clover design of the outer chainring - would look good on a Colnago! So forget the crank, let's see pics of the 80's track bike! Oh yeah, if you remember the phone conversation we had the other day - you can find the bike I was chasing after here: https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...oined+the+club...
you're going to laugh when you see it.

Bikes: 1986 Alan Record Carbonio, 1985 Vitus Plus Carbone 7, 1984 Peugeot PSV, 1972 Line Seeker, 1986(est.) Medici Aerodynamic (Project), 1985(est.) Peugeot PY10FC
I'm 99% sure that those cranks are re-branded Stronglight 107s.
They were Stronglight's top of the line cranks in the mid 80's and even saw use by pros in the TDF on Gitanes and Peugeot, most likely.
I don't think they ar that common in Galli form, but the 107s can go for quite high prices if NOS.
I do prefer the lower model 106 to these though for their more classic aesthetics with fluted arms and the bonus of lighter weight.

Here's my Galli Criterium/Stronglight 106 crank:

I've also got gold Galli Brunito calipers, Aerodynamic KL derailleurs (Simplex), Galli (Stronglight A9) roller bearing headset. Really want to get my hands on a roller bearing BB. Last I saw on ebay went for well over $100. It's all nice stuff.

And here it is on a pro level Peugeot, branded as Spidel. Chombi posted a thread about the bike earlier. Spittin' image:

oOoOo, that stuff looks pretty, i knew i've seen this crank on a high end french bike before. the crank is actually pretty light, i think i'm going to use the pair on my weird raleigh find that no one could identify what type of raleigh it was, (https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...=#post12679945)
also those raleigh's are really nice, hahah i won't laugh, i actually sold a really nice cruiser today, my brother said it rode really smoothly and nicely but weighed a ton. and made alot of creeky noises when you hit bumps and stuff.

Galli made some nice anodized bits. I have a red crankset and a red RD. They look pretty sweet.

I know, but even "Strada" was put on the cranks. Plus the thread designation location is even similar.
