What is this?

I wrote the seller telling him I wasn't sure he had a Cinelli, but couldn't offer any ideas on what it might be. I dunno. Do you?

It has a Cinelli BB shell but it is not a Cinelli bike.

Cinelli probably sold many more framebuilding parts to other builders than were ever used on thier own bikes. Not many identifying features from the pictures. Timewise, looks like it was probably originally build in late 70's with a (nuevo) grand sport grouppo and the RD was later replaced with a 980 model.

Yeah, that's what I figured. Thought maybe someone might recognize those cutouts in the lugs. Not much to go on.

I think they are a Bocama lug, but otherwise no idea what the frame could be. I don't see a shot of the BB shell, I'd like to know if it has any cut-out.
And that's a strange place for a Flick-stand
Edit: no not the BCM lug I thought it was...so I'm stumped on those, too!

Yeah, looking at the close up shots, it looks like a pretty nice frame, but I'm not knowledgeable enough. Told the seller I'd post it over here and try to get him some help on ID. Didn't even notice the Flick-stand. Have to go back and look. Thanks folks.
