Our home is a creative one for sure, there is always music playing... mostly punk or jazz as I grew up in SoCal in the 70's. As you can see from The Descendents baby gear, she is 8 now, my daughter was destined to be a little sammie. That quote in your signature is one of my favorites, I loved that interview! The Clash are my lil' angel's favorite band but lately (thanks to Pandora) she has really been getting into The Misfits. Works out good for me, I get cool birthday gifts from her, like some Misfits shoelaces to go in the birthday riding shoes my wife bought me... my daughter and I quickly "decorated" them.

As a young man in south Florida the ramps were alive with the sound of NOFX the Decendents, Social D etc. I think Fat Wreck and Epitaph own the soundtrack of my life. My wife is into Hip Hop but my daughter loves Rancid and Green Day they are more musical to her ear and have a cool beat so she can sing along. I'm 36 now have adult responsibilities but I feel more and more punk as I get older there is so much wrong that could be fixed if people just gave a damn..I feel like Steve Ignorant my feeling haven't changed but the impact of but it doesn't have the same impact when a slightly pudgy family man says or implies FU than it does when the same guy had more muscles and more attitude.

Just got back from a three day camping trip with the family. The kids (well most of them) enjoyed the mountain lake swimming and I got to do some huckleberry picking with my sister for the first time in many years. I love the smell of the evergreen trees - nothing better.

A ride with my son at Dawn (he is trying to get used to getting up early, SCHOOL next week...bus at 6:20!) this morning, a stroll and clime of the observation tower at Weedon Island Preserve at the halfway point...83 with a feels like of 103....HUMID is the word...it felt good to get back on the bikes after walking the boardwalk.... STIFLING in the mangroves! Not a whisper of wind.

Yesterday was the last morning spent in my first house. It was nice a peaceful and relaxing morning, spent a lot of time on the porch swing. I handed over the keys to the new tenants today and i've got a good feeling about it. I think we found the proverbial needle in the haystack when it comes to them. Never thought i'd be a landlord....

Always something...getting stuff ready for an end of year concert, and my 78 Olds lost it's name plate...well, it's CASE did...(78 Olds Recording Trumpet) ...NOW I have to find some good adhesive and a couple brass tacks (after I straiten it out)!

Welcome Jacob....if you are having a blast on that...it is good training for when you get a lighter bike, you will REALLY fly then! I am assuming you have chrome rims on that, be careful in the wet. IF you find a good deal on alloy wheels...GRAB it, that was the biggest improvement on my old 79 LeTOur

I think that might be a Varsity. I had a 1978 for a while, and I still have an actual 1980 Traveler frame, although I don't use it any longer. The frames are quite different.
