NO riding this weekend due to a BSA Eagle Project, a Band Concert in the Park, and BSA Popcorn Sales at Sam's club...busy, busy, busy....

Fam and I decided to spend the weekend in Tahoe. We took the cetma, Betty Foy, and a kids bike.

This seat post is pretty far gone. Down the side of the post is a fairly significant gouge, probably from some rack/contraption mounted to the post, and some flaking corrosion can be seen at the top end of the post. Metal bits are soaking in Oxalic Acid. We'll see how close I can bring this back to respectability...

Although not quite as quickly as you do. :) We live just across the river in St. Paul, maybe ten minutes by bike from the VA hospital and Fort Snelling. Nice Bianchi btw. |
