What's a Chickadee doing on a Humming bird feeder?

Taking a drink!

Normal customer with the normal technique. Twice today there were interesting meetings between the two, but I didn't have my camera at the ready either time.

I disapprove of tats in principle, but that one's pretty gnarly. A little ways off the path from a generic tribal armband.

Nice to see the Virgin gets out in the break now and again.

Phew. Judging by what I see around me, on TV and on the Internet, I was beginning to think I was the only one left without one. Even mrs non-fixie - an Italian car fan - has a quadrifoglio verde. Somewhere.

BTW, I agree that @orangeology's is kinda cool.

LOL, I can relate to losing track of a bike or two, but a whole car?

OTOH, my Saab 9000, the sister car to your Alfa, is nearly disappearing under a carpet of old leaves and pine needles. I should really get that thing running again

My sweetie and I were out for a hike Sunday - we startled (or maybe it was the other way around) five snakes out catching some sun, and this little tyke, not much bigger than a quarter:

If its lucky, some day it will look like this:

Awesome bike. I've been obsessed with these (and the ATB models) for a few months now.

We spent a fun weekend in Philly with friends and did some cycling around the city as we do every time we visit. It is such a bike friendly city and this time I rode my Peugeot U08 commuter build. I did get a flat in West Philly and was foolishly unprepared (I forgot the tube) but we walked 2 miles to Wolf Cycles which was a really cool shop. They kept complimenting my Pug as they replaced the tube which never gets old. I love Philly more and more each time I visit.

Is that in Pittsburgh? Before the game last night?

Good to see the team more relaxed than the entire city of Chicagoland.

Nope. Jose Cardenal 1970s. Nothing more than a quasi-legal tip of the hat.
