Visited a classic road bike exhibition and fair this morning. Lots of nice bikes to be seen and bought.
This nice pair of RIH's for instance. His and hers? http://www.mijnalbum.nl/GroteFoto-XSP3DLX6.jpg Some crumpled steel: http://www.mijnalbum.nl/GroteFoto-BOB7UVKZ.jpg And a pair of Jan Janssen's aero bikes in official Shimano AX livery: http://www.mijnalbum.nl/GroteFoto-V44IQ8VU.jpg More pictures are here and here. |
I have been at the hospital every day this week... this picture caught my eye.

You may have just started an entirely new internet meme. Thanks for that. ;) |

non-fixie: thanks for the great links! That looked like an amazing day out with a drool-worthy cornucopia of vintage high-quality bikes, frames, parts and clothing. Wish I could've been there for that... DD |

Non-Fixie,
did you happen to capture the price and year of the blue "crumpled steel" Colnago? Some of those prices seem very nice. |

Thanks for the pics and the links. I'd love to see any additional pics of the white Zullo. Looks to be in top notch condition. ...and Oria tubing! I've only seen his steel bikes built from Columbus in the past. |

Hahaha! Yes it does look like a turdwich. It is a Bacon Doughnut, I just google searched and found that image. I have never personally tried a bacon doughnut, but I was aware of their existence.

Took a day off today to start the boating season! Spent most of the day launching and cleaning one of my other C&V playthings: a 1972 Centurion 32.

Rode by this amazing live oak today. I love how the branches grow all over the place.
http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7204/6...7c140482_z.jpg sometimes the branches will reach the ground: http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6120/6...bc0a747c_z.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7195/6...59714aed_z.jpg definitely one of my favorite trees native to this area http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6095/7...689a64ec_z.jpg |

I didn't notice the bird and bunny were watching until after I took the photo. ;) |
Love those pics Cobrabyte. Downloaded a couple from your flickr page. Beautiful trees, and your bike looks great in the first photo.
