I have a continuing project to fit the Alize triple onto my wife's Wilier-made Terry, with good chainline and decent Q. The available info is not that good, but there is something out there. Plus there's some technical info on the TA site, or at least there was. Oh, well, meanwhile I have a Racing T working ok on it ...

Well, I'm just thinking about them now. Not a lot of 110/74 bcd triples for road bikes, square taper. I'm a little suspicious of the fact that they are so rare. That alone isn't so bad, but I don't find anyone singing their praises, or very few. Heck, even TA doesn't have much on their site, I'm wondering if they don't even like it enough to push it, what does that say?
It seems nice, but I'd like to hear from some people who have had them....

Robatsu,
There are other populations of cycling Netizens out there - two real good ones in this context are the Internet BOB Google Group and the Bicycling Lifestyle group, run by Peter White. Those would be good places to raise your questions about TA. Personally I think they are all things of beauty, with fine finishes, relatively low Qs, and strong designs. But Peter White is the expert. He just shakes his head at how TA markets things in the USA, however.
I think the Alize that came on my wife's Terry is a fantastic piece, but I hate to see it mounted as badly as it was, on her bike. The Carmina is similar in appearance, but a very different design - modular spiders! I look at them as Campy elegance, low weight, and high durability, but much less common in the United States, and less tendency for obsolescence even than Campy.
Other sources might be Mike Kone at Boulder Bicycles or Rene Herse - he's the proprietor of both enterprises, and sells TA sets suitable for his traditional rando bikes. If nothing else you could contact Olivier Csuka, proprietor and builder at Alex Singer outside of Paris - genuine French builder who uses genuine French parts. He sells TA, as well. I used to see them advertised on a Francophone Quebecois site, but I haven't been able to find that link for a long time.
