Scraped the Chrome!!

O.K. so the decals fell off a long time ago and the paint is chipped scratched and an eyesore(I like it)the chrome on my 87'Pinarello was perfect.Today I clumsily scraped the chrome seat stay on a concrete curb and it left a small scrape about an inch and a half long.Anything to do to make it shine again?I'm not going to re chrome it but any one got some tricks to use on scraped chrome? It made me realize how babied this frame really must have been! This is almost the only imperfection on the frame.

Some Mother's might be able to get rid of that scratch you have. Any pictures?

Rub the scratch with crumpled up aluminum foil and see what happens. I have had pretty good luck with this simple household resource, time and time again.l

Aluminum foil with Windex is my favorite chrome rejuvenator. Wipe any black residue off with a paper towel.
