Brooks Saddle on a Triumph Bike
Hey have been offered a triumph bike with a Blue Brooks Saddle. I have not been able to find this saddle anywhere and was wondering if anyone knew what model it would be.

If you were offered this bike what would you pay for it?

Not a terribly desirable saddle I dont think.
The bike looks to be in good shape, if you want it to ride it and enjoy it, probably around or under the $100 mark, a little more if you really like it. If i was buying it to flip it... no more than $40. but 3-speeds just don't sell around here and i generally dont care to ride them, so that reflects my opinions a bit.

I don't know the model number, but that style of saddle is called a "mattress saddle." In most cases when someone mentions a "brooks saddle" this is not what they are talking about.

+1 to the above, except I think the pricing might even be too high - especially for a step through. I'd say CL value of $60 to $80 and really on flippable if free or carefully checked out for potential issues.

This market, right now?
$40.
Gotta have the rear fender for this climate, and that amount.

I've bought lots of these for $5-$50. I spend about 3 hours cleaning, lubing and tuning them and sell them for about $100. The money is in the bottom bracket grease.
The customer gets a bike that I've inspected and stand behind.
Fenders are available on Ebay for about $30 shipped. Wait for a blue one. No point repainting.
The saddles are cute for round town but not for distance touring. They have little money value but I like the looks of them.
