we've had this image a time or two previously but no harm done ;)

can no see her likeness without thinking o' her end...

at least it got a safety law/regulation enacted...which has probably saved a number of lives

I thought this was a bike forum ;) pic in post above cropped out the bike! Has anyone ever seen a Mixte with the makeshift wooden top platform on this bike? Seems like it would be in the way when riding? made just for the photo shoot?

I think it's a child seat.

That's not a mixte though. The defining characteristic of a mixte is the midstays that go from the sloped TT to the dropouts.

Thanks, did not mean to put up bad info. I have no idea why I wrote "mixte" (maybe I was have been distracted by something else in the pic:innocent:) I know better than that, it's not even close. merziac schooled me, when I was a new member, I posted a Jumele or a Berceau misidentified as a Mixte and he shared the image floating around the forums:

My close up gave a better view of the (partially obscured) head-badge and pin-striping in hopes of making the ID easier. Yeah, that's it.
