Well that's as safe as a trampoline.

I like the reversible drive-side, as shown in upper right pic (not). It also says the "sprocket and pedal system which is cantilevered independently of the back wheel mechanism." No, it's not. The crank is independent of the front frame. Didn't anyone technical with the company review the ad copy?

From the 1998 Woody Allen film "Celebrity", he is not seen riding the bike, and it is just set dressing like the Klein/Cannondale in "Seinfeld" but as Bikesnob put it , that Softride "it’s a physical manifestation of the Kenneth Branagh character’s contemptible spinelessness" :roflmao2:

Frequently put on a movie late at night to fall asleep to. One that I don't need to pay much attention. Last night it was Flashdance. Not a great movie, but forgot that Jennifer Beals rides a bike throughout the movie. Looks to be a Moto.

She's using the spring clip! I always wondered what to do with the spring clip on my racks that had one.

Left-hand-drivetrain alert. Although the buttoning of her jacket is female, but it must have been a male jacket in reality.

I can't be sure, but it looks like the text in the window is backwards.

In Ken Burns' Country Music doc, Merle Haggard tells a story of when he was 12, sneaking out of his house one night after his mom went to sleep and biking over 5 miles to see Bob Wills perform, watching the show through the open window while standing on his bike.

Yeah I tried to zoom in on that too, couldn't read.

Thank you. Although not that we needed proof. Someday, someone is going to build up a bike with left crank just for grins, that would have been the kind of thing Sheldon Brown would do, that's easy to reverse, though pedal threading would be the tricky part to keep from coming undone, and a fixie track rear would be easy, but a left hand cassette, rear derailleur, and hanger, would be harder.
