Well darn they cancelled this auction. I guess someone made them an offer offline. I think you guys were all wrong. Just a quick estimate from the pictures and I got at least $5000 at current Ebay prices. The inventory in the listing only covered about 1/2 the stuff shown in the pictures and everything in the pictures was included. There were a bunch of old BMX headsets, one of which is selling for about $100 on Ebay, and they had 12 of them.

Listing implies they bought it at a storage locker auction....

I'm with the others that don't see buttloads of value there. Missing parts, condition issues, empty boxes, stoopid-high shipping fee, buying sight-unseen from someone that doesn't really know/care about this kind of stuff, etc., etc.

eBay can be a silly, silly place....

All academic now. They stopped the auction. Don't you just hate that? I do.

The bidding was at $3600 last time I checked and it had met the reserve, which was probably $3500

No they sold it. I talked to them and they got an offline offer they took. They sent me the email of the guy who bought it. I guess he isn't interested in most of the Campy stuff.
