Campy NR/SR brake and shift cables
I tried doing a search but didn't come up with much. I currently have what I think are genuine campy cables on these, but they are starting to wear out (think I got them from bicyleclassics years ago). The derailleur cables measure 1.6mm, but appear to be galvanized? They do have the <c> on the heads.
What do you all recommend to use for these? I will need to replace the shifter cables pretty soon... the brake cables are the black housing (can't remember if they are lined?), and they seem fine.
Jagwire? Clarks? Other?

I just got Clarks derailleur cables for my Alan Carbonio build, and they worked great with my Mavic retrofriction shifters. I suspect they will work as well with Campy NR as the cable end heads should be the same size....
Frankly, I don't think it's worth trying to get NOS cables fro brakes and derailleurs, as the new stuff from makers like Clarks work perfectly, plus IIRC, they are stainless steel, so no rust problems.........plus nobody will know they are brand new anyway.
The new brake cables are also great as they are smoother on the outside compared to the older stuff, so they slide much more smoothly in their casings

Thanks. Forgot to mention I am using Simplex Retrofriction shifters as well, but the Campy heads fit just fine.

I just use the quality stuff from the LBS for one of my rides. Clarks? Sram? I can't remember. Just get the pretty good ones. And please, don't throw out the old Campy brake cables. They may indeed be wearing out, but someone here might like to have them if they're the old 1.8 mm galvanized jobs.

They are worn out when they break or are just so rusty that their integrity is compromised.
For bright and shiny, some of the good new stainless stuff is fine. I bought Aztec teflon infused units that show black and work well too.
I always paint the ends an accent color if I don't have authentic Campagnolo cables...
